I stand corrected. I assumed that because I attempted to post some war scenes and was hit with the no violence, no blood restrictions, I assumed it would apply also to the crucifixion. I was wrong. It seems religious stories are exempted from youtube and Facebook policies.
Thanks for making the correction. You are better than most who can't acknowledge a mistake.

How did Valentine’s Day come about?

Valentine’s Day is connected to a man named Saint Valentine.

According to history:
• He lived during the time of Roman Emperor Claudius II.
• The emperor believed single men made better soldiers, so he banned young men from getting married.
• Saint Valentine secretly performed marriages for couples in love.
• When he was caught, he was imprisoned and later executed on February 14 around the year 269 AD.

Because of his sacrifice for love, February 14 became known as Valentine’s Day.

How it became romantic

Later in history, especially in places like England and France, people believed February was the season when birds choose their mates. That idea connected the day even more with romance.

Over time, it became a global celebration of love.

Since you’re a content creator, here’s a funny line you can use:

“Valentine started as secret wedding ministry… now it’s secret relationship pressure.” 😂💔

This is the best pictorial representation of valentine. John 3:16 says for God so LOVED the world that he gave his only begotten son......the love of God is the greatest love for vain is the help of man.
Shalom 🙏
I believe this is the greatest love... I can imagine what MNK is passing through for people who don't care all the way from the comfort of his UK home.

Many people don't really understand the message of Christ.

Why did God has to get himself nailed to the cross to forgive people their sins? Why didn't he simply forgive their sins? Or better yet use his omniscient knowledge of the future and omnipotence power to arrange situations that people won't choose to sin, not necessarily overriding their will power?

Why?
Try and understand the message.

IN OTHER WORDS GOD IMPOSED THIS SUFFERING ON US.
. GOD SHOULD HAVE, AS WELL, REMOVE THE TREE AT THE GARDEN OF EDEN OR DEPRIVE THE SARPENT FROM GETTING CLOSED TO EVE. ALL THESE PROBLEMS TODAY WOULDN'T HAVE BE THERE. WELL GOD IS GOD. HE HAS REASON FOR ALL HIS WORKS.

God's love for mankind is shown to us in His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.

No other love is greater than this.

Stop using your brain. It is a crime in religion. You must believe whatever story they tell lest they shame you.

If I have the powers of Ominiscience, Omnipotence and Ultimate Wisdom; I will arrange situations from the beginning such that Nigerian citizens will not even need saving in the first place. They will function and use their free will to choose good actions the way I originally intended them to.

A truly All-knowing, All-Powerful and All-Wise God shouldn't need to do damage control (saving). He will prevent damage in the first place.

Some of us Christians really need to get serious.
Valentine's day is set aside for people in a romantic relationship and there is nothing wrong with that.
It is so different from John 3.16.
I mean, why should we always mix things up? As Christians, the goal is not to always look stupid? We can recognise and appreciate a day in which husbands, wives, and anyone in a romantic relationship choose to celebrate without mixing it with John 3.16 and confusing everyone.
Jesus was asked what was the greatest law..he said..love the lord your God with all your heart....and love your neighbor as yourself...

Right there is the relationship of love that we christians cannot separate from the love for humans. Thank you

Well, God/Ultimate Being/Mother Nature gave me my brain and he/she/it won't be angry if I use it to analyse things.

It's only religions, religious leaders, religious followers and the respective religion's imaginary Gods that will tell me stop using my brains .

The answer is still love. You don't what God to override your free will, yet youwant Him to use His supremacy to save mankind? That's a bit confusing.
Truth is, Jesus loves you and He wants a solid relationship with you. You can also ask Him what'son your mind. God bless you inJesusname. There's a lot to say.

Thank you for your questions.
To answer your first and second questions, there are many lessons and reasons of the crucifixion at Calvary, let me just give you few:

1. God has the power to forgive sins without having need to get Jesus nailed on the cross. However, God wants us to know that He respects sacrifice. He proved this by giving His best as a sacrifice to Himself for our sins. So when we make very costly sacrifice, God knows what it takes us to make such sacrifice.

2. God wa andnts to demonstrate the power in covenant made with blood. The blood of Jesus was shed as a covenant that God shall forgive whoever that accepts Jesus as Savior and genuinely repents from their sins.

3. God wants to demonstrate to mankind that He is the greatest giver. He wants us to know that He loves us and if He can give Himself for us, there is nothing too hard or too big that He cannot give us.

4. God wants us to know that He loves us more than anything else. There is no greater love than when a man gives his life to be killed in place of another person's life.

5. God wants us to know that there is no suffering or hardship that we pass through that He has not passed through before us. He wants us to know that He has felt our pain before and if any of His child (Christian) is facing persecution, He has also experienced persecution and He knows the agony. Jesus was mocked, spat upon, slapped in the face, flogged, denied water when he was thirsty, pierced with spear, lied upon, denied by His friend, hated by His own people, He was called bad names, denied justice, was innocent but a notorious criminal was freed in His exchange, was eventually killed unjustly, He experienced death, and was buried. He has all experience of suffering anybody can have, so that we should not think He doesn't know what it takes to go through pain or suffering. However, He rose from the dead because He was not an ordinary man, He only came to save us from the power of sin and hell.

To answer your third question; God gives us power to make our decision, He does not impose His own way on us, He has given us ability to make our choices. However, He would always warn us of consequences of making the wrong decision or choice. That is why He warned the first man and woman about sin and consequence of death. But the people were deceived by the devil and disobeyed God.
