Kingsley34:For every rumour, there's usually an iota of truth "Additionally, an investigation by WikkiTimes, a grassroots newspaper in Bauchi State, revealed how Chinese-affiliated miners bribed the terror faction of Dogo Gide to gain access to mining sites in the Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State." |

Putindbutt:What's the US useful for? Are this poor in knowledge? Browse how much the US gives out in aids to the poor nations of Africa. I believe you know about the USAid? China will collect toll for every investment. China don't give free. All these China is investing this and that in Africa is all hogwash. China is rather buying African government/resources at an incredulously cheap price. A situation where you purportedly want to invest in my country, but all and almost every of your manpower is imported from your home country and all the services are rendered by Chinese companies. And in the end , you repatriate all the profits. Of what use is such an investment? Putindbutt: |

If china have mining companies that are mining our mineral resources legally.. Nigeria should be making a lot of revenue, income , money in form of tax from this mining activities from china and jobs created for Nigerians...the ministry of mineral resources should be generating a lot of revenue from this Chinese mining companies if it's the mineral resources are legally mined |

ponlear:remember back in 2019 2020 when crates of human penis made its way to China? How can they get such stuffs of not that unscrupulous elements like bandits or terrorists gave it to them. We must ban China from Nigeria for Nigeria to survive. Look at the atrocities they are commiting in Nigeria where as they have severe punishment for such things in their place. How can they send us their prisoners as expatriates? people who are dangerous to their own society are leading work operations in our own society |

Kingsley34:They can't! I have nothing against them but they lack the charisma. I don't see them becoming world power ever. Even though, they are hard working and creative but they are politically and socially not there. They don't have the influence and I doubt they have the military might. |

Putindbutt:Shut up. Shut up. Is it the same USA That the Congolese president begged and cried to for many months to come help them against the M13? The same USA that Tsishekedi was offering mineral deals on live TV for more than a year because the Chinese aren’t helping but rather paying M23 for protection? It took the intervention of the USA for Kagame to agree to a ceasefire and only then did they sign the deal and the M23 finally agreed to ceasefire. China is a predatory nation with zero empathy and extraordinary ammount of cruelty and racism. To hell with yoor China |

The US is 100% correct on this. Come to Nasarawa Local government in Nasarawa State and see how the Chinese mine lithium illegally. These accusations is not baseless. I know the US have its facts on ground |

Putindbutt:China is providing 60 billion, 40 billion yen yen yen. Are they giving you the money for free? China gives money with condition that your capital projects must be sourced to them. That is the origin of your 60 billion. Ask yourself, how much Bill Gates alone provided for Africa to combat polio and other diseases, without which your fingers would probably have withered away from polio .That is just one individual, not a whole country. China is obviously into illegal mining in Nigeria, you are quiet, but if it is USA, you start screaming they are stealing your resources. In fact, every single illegal mining going on in Nigeria is orchestrated by the Chinese. Not only that, they are actively promoting banditry by paying non state actors to protect their illegal mining. Those are things done right under your nose. Worse still is the meagre and pitiable so called salary they pay. Can you compare what American companies in Nigeria pay to the pitiable sums Chinese companies pay? Add that to the inhumane working hours. |

ceejay80s:The same government that owes China lots of money, same government officials who pocket millions of dollars. Unfortunately, our government can't do much. Besides, it's important to balance this narrative. Not all Chinese companies are fraudulent, but there are a lot who engage fully in fraudulent operations that jeopardizes the safety of Nigerians as a whole |

HacheNoire:I see why you decided to be foolish and respond out of ignorance. Since you work for Japaul who has Chinese partners, you are suddenly blind to the truth. Have some courage to always say the truth. My only error (which i apologize for) is making my statement look generalized. There are some Chinese companies who operate legally, while there are many more who operate illegally especially within areas with high insecurity. For your information, i have consulted for Japaul (directly and indirectly) on several sites in Nigeria (Ilesha and Benue/Taraba). Please learn to respond with your facts not sentiments. Try getting a censors of businesses and communities who have had dealings with Chinese companies and i can assure you that more than 70% will tell you horror stories. The only way to work for or with a Chinese companies is to ensure that all your angles of business are covered and their role is clearly spelt out so they don't have freedom to do as they wish, else they are sure to turn fraudulent. |

| Re: China Reacts To United States Allegation Of Sponsoring Terrorism In Nigeria by LongT(m): 9:36am On Feb 16 |
The Chinese are deeply involved, and they sponsor terrorism. In Zamfara state, they use helicopters and jets to move illegally mined gold to their countries and make ten times the value in collaboration with some of our so called military personnel. President Buhari put a sanction to mining in those states of particular concern and also banned air space activity. But the government of the affected states protested, and the ban was lifted. A clear indication that the government itself and some high level individuals are collaborating with the Chinese to reap Nigeria. When the actors collaborate with the government to steal from the state, illegality become legal. The government of the affected states as it were are enjoying blood money. And there is nothing that anybody can do about it. Nigerians should be weary of giving power to tyrants. |
