What does that tell you about them agreeing to be President?

It's a foolish custom to spend so much on marriage. Marriage should entail the courts only, if it lasts ten years then you can celebrate lavishly if you so wish but to celebrate before you've done anything is backwards.

So, to answer your question... Saying you won't be Vice President even if you're paid a million dollars means you have a choice to become the VP, but choose not to.

The most reasonable thing to do is ask why the person doesn't want to become the VP. What if he wants to quit politics? What if the position of the SP is more attractive to him even if it is lower than the VP? What if he wants to become the President?

Unless the person confides his real reasons to you, you have no right to assume it is what you think it is.

To get visa for your foreign child to bring the child into your country on the basis that you are a citizen, it is easier for a mother not married to the child's father than for a father not married to the child's mother.

We have DNA testing, we can readily identify paternity. Civilized societies understand that.
