LordAdam16:The bold is important to note because, should Iran refuse, hopefully so, to concede to those demands from the US, would the US stand by doing nothing? It means one party wants a conflict, and conflict means war. The same people who criticised JD Vance for his speech gave a standing ovation to Rubio, and we think these guys are playing when it comes to causing conflicts in any part of the world, so they achieve their desires? na this thing dey make many of our countries dey so unaware: - "no they cannot do any harm, they are our friends" - "America loves us and is here for good" meanwhile these people have it made crystal clear and continue doing so in a social media age where information is easily accessible, regardless of location. A major reason I like the Trump administration is that you will not feign ignorance because they have stated what they want and how they view each region of the world. |

LordAdam16:Exactly bro. You don't want them to have nuclear weapons, even ballistic missiles nor have satellites. Then what exactly do you want them to have? NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Just a Kangaroo country you can send Isreal to blow up any time you want just like Syria, Lebanon and Iraq. At a point, i even thought Lebanon, Syria and Iraq don't have Airforce not Air defence system because of the reckless bombing by Isreal any time, any day. If there is any threat in the ME that needs to disarm and not have nuclear, it is Isreal and not Iran. |

Gerrard59:the us needs its vietnam moment in iran the us does not make concessions until after there is incontrovertible evidence that force would not work they adopt this path because they believe they can extricate themselves from any quagmire at any time in vietnam, one day they decided their fatalities wasn't worth their stated objectives and they winded down they didn't stay a day longer they left and never turned back going on 40+ years today they trade with vietnam to the tune of billions of dollars in iraq, they gave up and let the shias rule and be vassals to iran in afghanistan, they gave up and let the talibans return look at ukraine they were never going to let russia seek to reset the eurasian security architecture without bloodshed confirming force would not work and now that they have confirmed force will not work they've pawned off the responsibilities to europe, europe buys the weapons from them to send to ukraine and they're trying to secure a detente with russia it'll be the same thing with china they'll never accept china as the pacific top dog until there is a war that proves force wouldn't work to cripple china taiwan, south korea, japan, philippines, australia something will give, millions will d** and then they'll accept some sort of detente so this is iran's moment this was inevitable there would always be a grand culmination the curious thing is that they did not want a total war they were content with economic war, color revolutions, and the odd week-long campaign but iran flipped the script on them they were hoping the insurgency would weaken the regime the terrorists will seize nodes of power then they will come in and have a shock and awe/no fly zone campaign after which the government will be unable to retaliate and be unable to stop the terrorists from gaining the upper hand as in libya this is the riskier path but they'll still commit to it because the worst that'll happen is that they lose thousands and then sign a jcpoa+ but they do not want to give iran a jcpoa+ until it is absolutely clear that using force will not work let's be realistic the taliban had a grueling war the insurgency in iraq was laborious the vietnam war was very bloody but if you want to get to the other side you have to enter the tunnel you have to smash through their fancy gizmos and their undeserved cloak of superiority if even the russians are finding that out with their large nuke arsenal the persians must prepare themselves for the eventuality there is no shortcut iran needs this war to secure lasting peace no one is talking about invading afghanistan or vietnam anymore afghanistan is still fundamentalist and vietnam is still communist for once, they don't care enough about human rights and democracy to send their "geologists" and "liberty missionaries" i wish there was a way for iran to avoid this but there isn't especially not when the genocidal c*nts are involved -Lord |

ā”Rubio: China's a big country. It's got a billion-something people, the second largest economy in the world. They have nuclear weapons. It would be crazy, it is insane for the United States and China not to have relations and interact with one another.

ā”Former CIA Officer John Kiriakou: The FBI has identified 187 Mossad agents in the United States not declared to the US government spread all around the country to steal our defense secrets. And I raised my hand. I said, āWhy? We give them 99% of our defense secrets.ā And he said, āExactly. They're here to steal the last 1%.ā And that's what they do. The Israelis are not friends of the United States.

ā”Rubio: It's not good for anybody to rely on one country or one economy for 90% of anything, especially things like critical supply chains. This is a reality. We want to diversify supply chains around the world. We've spoken clearly about it. That's not an anti-China thing. That's just the reality that over-dependence on one source is not good, especially when there's been a willingness in the past to use it as leverage against each other.

ā”Asher Hayon, a former chief of staff and adviser to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, died suddenly this morning at age 58, the Prime Ministerās Office says in a statement. Hayon retired from public service in recent years due to health issues, according to Hebrew media reports, which also note that his roles were primarily administrative and strategic, and that he preferred to keep a low profile. Netanyahu received the news āwith deep shock and immense sorrow,ā the premier says in the statement, saying he carried out his roles as office director and later as chief of staff in the PMO between 2018 and 2022 āwith great loyalty,ā adding that their relationship began when Hayon worked as his adviser two decades ago during the premierās tenure as finance minister.

ā”Senator Graham on Iran: I think the regime will collapse with sustained pressure. Itās so weak. You know, they fly F-14s? A lot has happened since Top Gun 1. So their Air Force is ā thatās a great movie, but it was made in the ā80s. So I donāt like their chances in the sky. They have a lot of ballistic missiles. They could hurt us. They could do damage to Israel. But every day that goes by in the war, they get less capable and we get more, because we have such a dominant advantage. There is risk associated with taking the regime down militarily. But the risk, compared to the risk of doing nothing, is small.
