GloriousGbola:The way he turned from a loud and vociferous Tinubu supporter to a rabid Tinubu hater within months looks suspicious Also it might be a personal beef with Ribadu for blocking his ministerial nomination and potentially disqualifying him from future higher positions. |

Unlimited22:If you are talking about Tinubu, I will take the question His track record as an excellent administrator when he was governor of Lagos state where he laid the groundwork for a prosperous Lagos. We could see his foresight in things like BRT, LATMA, LAMATA, Lekki FTZ and many laudable projects which has pushed Lagos far ahead of other states in Nigeria Its amazing that Tinubu spent 8yrs as governor same as Obi in Anambra but for Obi it was curses that followed his reign So the attraction to the Father of modern Lagos is natural since I am draw to doers and not Lamba-ists |

Unlimited22:The work of nation building after decades of mismanagement does not happen overnight just like building Lagos into what it is today did not happen overnight His work on the economy on inflation is why prices of foodstuffs are coming down, inflation is cooling, prices of food is decreasing Which state is their LG funds being withheld, which political thuggery and violence do you see? Actually this is one of the best administration in terms of political thuggery. When was the last time you heard a Chris Uba taking a governor to Okija shrine or Adedibu impeaching a governor? Meanwhile, - ASUU has not gone on any serious strike for almost three years - Fuel queues have totally disappeared from our stations - Currency round-tripping has become a thing of the past. - Days of prices going up but never coming down are over which signifies stability. - Governors are no more borrowing to pay salaries in Nigeria. That is why people who know about economy like Dangote Elumelu Otedola are firmly for Asiwaju |

GOOD NEWS: Operatives of the Office of the National Security Adviser, in a joint operation with the Department of State Services (DSS) and the 2 Division of the Nigerian Army, have neutralized notorious bandit kingpin Kachalla Kabiru and several of his lieutenants during a military operation in Kogi State, North Central Nigeria. According to report, the operation which culminated in airstrikes carried out by the Nigerian Air Force, was executed following weeks of sustained intelligence gathering and surveillance that confirmed the presence of the bandit leader at a designated hideout. |

raumdeuter:Explain why Obi won Lagos |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by DissTroy(m): 8:18am On Feb 17 |
raumdeuter:Lagos was far ahead of other states during colonial times before Tinubu was born. Roads were horrible under Tinubu and public infrastructure in disrepair. Oshodi and Mushin under Tinubu were just like Aba before Otti. Anybody who lived in Lagos pre-Fashola can confirm. It took Fashoda less than two years to clean up these areas which Tinubu couldn't do in 8 years. Lekki FTZ isn't exactly a making of Tinubu. There are other FTZ like the Onne FTZ in Rivers and recently the Liberty FTZ in Akwa Ibom. All by pronouncements of the Federal Government. You should thank Obasanjo for it, not Tinubu. LATMA and the likes had their own versions across states in Rivers under Amaechi (Heard of TIMARIV? Google it.) and Akwa Ibom under Akpabio. Sustainability by successive governments is another debate entirely. Under Tinubu, Lagos had a high crime rate (higher than the rest of the country despite not being the only ethnically heterogeneous one), poor public infrastructure and the likes. Heck! It was common knowledge companies in the Ikeja parts and other areas had to tar and fix roads as part of their CSR because the LASG was lacking. Not different from what Shell was doing in Rivers' Bonny Island or Mobil and ALSCON were doing in Akwa Ibom's Eket and Ikot Abasi respectively. |
