And when the transactions are finalised between the customer and the vendor, they collect their commission from the shop owner. The practical translation is market hustlers, they're in every single market in Nigeria.

Btw, "oso ahia" or "oso afia" depending on the dialect, means to act as go between between buyer and seller.

When you enter a big market, these boys and girls will quickly accost you asking what you want to buy and offering to take you to the section where it's sold, rather than you having to search the section out for yourself.
When a sale is made this way, the shop owner usually settles them, a grateful buyer can also settle them.

Some people have made fortunes, gained business experience and started their own business through "oso ahia".

That’s how it all started. From being framed, beaten, locked up to discovering I could write, building a business, and taking care of my mom.

Anyone who takes you into a shop that doesn't belong to him, you will quickly notice that.

Besides, if the price you are offered for a good is not okay by you, you can always walk away.

But these oso ahia guys would still be following you to take you to another place. They don't easily give up.

I note that too, but must time some inmates don't know who is who, the person advising him is probably a pro bono lawyer or even just a staff in the prison, some of those staff overhype their role

But generally it's unfortunate that in Nigeria pleading guilty of what you didn't do is the easiest way to escape awaiting trial, otherwise you might spend forever and your case will still be pending

It's posisible or should I say may be he actually tasted prison life but his story is not unique. Most of the things he wrote up there are normal things wey dey happen for prison. I think he's an upcoming writer and trying to test his skills. He tried though but there's room for improvement.

It's soo obviously it's fiction. The poster and Guobe I don't know who is worse in composing fake stories. This one finished his story although you'll easily know it's fake. For guobe he will make it Soo believable but divide the story into 2 parts and refuse to post the second part.

Day break them carry us go torture ground, the first thing they showed us was blood stain. Hanged me men I almost died that day. I started confessing rubbish, I have 25 guns, drop me let us go my gangs are robbing now let us go and cash them. No be small thing o. I saw sege. I spent two good weeks there I almost died, they killed robbers almost everyday see bullet wound on almost every legs. I will never forget that experience and I don't wish it for my enemies.
