Rev. Jesse Jackson's place in history is invaluable especially in his efforts in the fight for justice, freedom and equality of all mankind.

Truly, the essence of life is not solely on longevity but on the impact on the lives of other people .

This was a man who was prepared to lose his own life in other to save the lives of others by speaking truth to power.

Jackson came, he saw and he conquered!

It means he died from an illness. Rest in peace. His type became outdated in the early 90s. His work on earth was complete.

He eventually lost to Dukakis.
