[quote author=obonujoker post=138507050]This is one of the reasons I'm supporting Obi... To dismantle all these criminal politicians and their chains. EXACTLY!!.. they are only interested in their own pockets and don't give a fu*k about how it affects others....I mean this your machiavellian CITY BOYS. Their support for TINUBU isn't because they believe in a better Nigeria, but completely TRANSACTIONAL!!. |

Elzazzi:Many of those buses are worthless bro. Fact. I live in Lekki and go past Ajah few times a week because of ongoing projects we have in an axis after Abraham Adesanya. I see those Korope buses with my own eyes. Secondly, I don't think they would have told everyone to abandon all the old buses. This is sensationalist and partisan reportage to include even the statement of "allegedly linked to Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu" seems obviously included to make Nigerians lose sight of what is important so they focus alone on insulting the Tinubu family. If the Lagos Government want buses standardized for aesthetic appeal and mechanical safety, then that is their right to implement as the sole authority responsible for the public transport sector of Lagos and as obtains globally. Even an ultimatum for owners of old and unfit buses to swap them with new and acceptable one would not be illegal if Lagos wants it that way. The reason most of these guys will resist this is because the status quo is good for them and their vehicle-Owner bosses even as such will forever be inimical to Lagos developing an efficient, safe, modern and comfortable transport system. More information is needed before anyone starts taking sides let alone begin insulting others, like Tinubu and his son, who likely have nothing to do with this development. On the face of it, anyone who truly loves Lagos will accept newer, mechanically safer and well-maintenwd Korope buses is a welcomed development. |

Wealth is no longer enough for them, they want to completely enslave everyone within their reach. Imagine what he will do if he becomes governor of Lagos? He will build universities and direct all graduates from Lagos to go back and study in his schools before they can work? God help Nigeria! |

Below is an expansive take on events that reveals some factual truth SaharaReporters left out to go with a more salacious and deliberately incendiary reportage framing issues to appear as if the transport workers are fighting 'tyranny' of Tinubu and his son. We claim to want better but now throw our brains in the bin to be siding with agents of regression because of hatred of certain people and entities. https://www.thecable.ng/lagos-defends-minibus-ban-on-lekki-epe-corridor-after-drivers-protest/ Lagos defends minibus ban on Lekki-Epe corridor after drivers’ protest |

That is why they want to gradually turn Nigeria into a one party state so they can control the structures, institutions and control the whole of Nigeria..it's a pity |

The level of impunity going on in that state is unheard of. How do we explain this to a foreigner? |

![]() The unholy alliance between the agbero union and the ruling party continues to bring forth its bitter fruit. I had a supplier spend three fruitless hours in that Ajah traffic this morning - and the delivery had to be cancelled. Ordinary Nigerians weren't there when they negotiated their sweetheart deals and yet now they have fallen out with each other, the rest of us have to pay a heavy price. This same agbero union has backed the APC to the hilt for over a decade now. They should sort out their differences and stop being an inconvenience to the rest of us. |

NSNO:Look at you, you dont understand. If you do, you won't make sarcastic comments like that. Lemme explain the difference if you don't mind. There is a difference between being lured from a clean state into corrupt state and being lured from corrupt state into a clean state. No matter how clean you are, when you engage with someone like Tinubu, I can bet you, your hands can never be clean. Your moral stand can never be upheld. You just jumped into a dirt mud and become dirty. Yes, you will also see money because that's the catch but you will also be largely compromised. Thats evident so far since Tinubu showed up in Nigerian politics. Even Pastor Osibanjo wasn't left out. The only thing working for him is his contentment with how dirty he has become and doesn’t want to get any dirtier. However, with situation is entirely opposite. No politician doesn’t know Obi is the force to reckon with after 2023 elections. The man that ran the most cost efficient campaign in the history of Nigerian politics since 1999 with no structure and whatever metrics they used in assessing him but still pulled the numbers and figures he did in the last elections. The organic numbers can not reduce but only increase. The north was all he needed at the time and now, am pretty sure they have come around. So it is only normal and wise for Atiku and any other opposition to align with him come what may even if they have to be clean to do so. So Obi influenced them positively to be better politicians, and if you ask me, that's what they country need right now. People who will encourage others to be honest, selfless, competent and emphatic in public service. To be politician that doesn’t have to steal, deny people and self serving, undemocratic to lead is what that man is spearheading and if he can win it, He will kick start a new style of politics that just might trigger the better Nigeria we hope for. Just imagine, they won't even have a credible, free and fair elections. INEC don't even have a say, Nigerians yearning can't even be passed because they are the majority and loyal to their party than the Nigerians that voted them. What it means is that Nigerians didn't vote them and thus don't need Nigerians. So back to the heading of the thread. Yes, Obi is with them as a cleansing agent. Not other way around. |

Those of you living in Lagos should confirm this , apart from BRT I don't know of any special buses like that. Transportation in a state should not be monopolized, how can one family hold a state and its tax paying citizens to ransom. Imagine being forced into buying a bus from him at whatever exorbitant rate he chooses. If such evil ploy goes through it will be a template for the whole country, such monopolies drive up transport costs and contribute to higher cost of living in the state, we already say this on the BRT buses, they becoming dilapidated with no replacements and other individuals aren't allowed to bring in alternatives, they are even banned from the routes. Like I always say, this is not sustainable in the long run. |
