This morning, we handed over 28 18-seater buses to Federal, State, Indigenous and Special Education institutions in Oyo State in fulfilment of a promise I made to students. I announced that I had approved the payment of bursaries and scholarships to students and that the process will be online to ensure they can register to receive it easily. I also assured our students that our administration will continue to take measures to ease the hardship they are facing, and that my personal scholarship scheme will also be implemented within 8 weeks.

It is clear as day that Government in Nigeria does not know its role, its job.
Nigeria should have gone beyond the level of “donating buses to paramount rulers/schools/churches etc”

Buses that will not be well taken care of.
Create enabling environment and invite companies private and public to come build and manufacture stuff in your state. Not donation of buses.

Hopefully, he will also pay Oyo state students their bursaries too, since 2022. Smh.

Their is nothing good about it. At this stage in time, the responsibilities of a stage governor ought to have moved beyond donation of wheelchairs to the physically challenged persons.

While Lagos is building series of modern rail lines, this one is still giving alms to the needy. Roads in Oyo state are nothing to write home about. He needs to be more proactive and engage in real developmental projects.

I love Seyi, he is a good man at heart, great philanthropist, but he is the worst gov to rule Oyo.
