You’ve raised a salient point about adequate preparation. But all I’m saying is that tech ain’t 100% infallible. Even in the best of circumstances, 2-3% of the PUs may still experience technical glitches.
So, I wouldn’t totally discard manual transmission of results. In fact, I would propose that INEC should have an administrative rule which would mandate the various party agents to remain at the PUs till e-transmission of results is complete
They know what they are doing. Go to Lagos and you will find tech guys that can design app that works offline. When you get to location with network, just sync and it will hit the backend.

If INEC is truly independent and serious, they know what to do.

Every once in a while, mtn has an outage

It is why you need multiple sims

Glo is xxxt in Lagos, but outside Lagos or maybe on campus, they are better. I can barely get through to my son in ekiti on mtn, but Glo is fine. And Glo data is more reliable over there.

And then you have end user abuse. Who is to say a sodiq will not throttle the connection for everyone by choosing that moment to download tinto brass collection?

Left the last born unsupervised on the WiFi and he went through 10gb (that should have gone for 3 more days) in maybe 2 hours angry

The telcos seem to be laying down the gauntlet tho

Why are you going through my history
Do we really need to throttle data connection knowing fully well our ISP are criminals if they tell you it's 25mbs just divide it by 10.

Ramadan kareem fellow forest enjoyer.

Mbps is marketing wayo
Big looking number that translates to small mb/s downloads.

With your average local isp speed - Something as simple as downloading a torrent and I cannot view anything else while the torrent downloads

I actually messed up a router one time because downloading torrents over WiFi kept causing it to crash. Later i found no issue if I downloaded over lan.

As a naija matter who will prevent polling unit agents from abusing the network provided?

Youth corpers who have been in one bush village with poor Internet and you now provide them with Internet on election day - can you be sure they will behave themselves?

Exactly I stopped downloading from torrent because it's a complete waste of time.
For the transmission of election results, INEC actually know what to do it's not supposed to be hard.

Men are fighting back. There are trending false accusation databases to publicly and forever document women who falsely accuse men of abuse.

Registerher.com

falselyaccuseddatabase.com

Men are filing entries quickly.

Share it amongst your friends

The case which made this go viral was of a 29-year-old Chinese woman, Hao Li, who pursued sex with a policeman then turned around to accuse him of råpé. His only saving grace was him recording everything. She's been jailed for 6 years.

Actress Dorcas Fapson who falsely accused a Taxify driver of rape in January 2019, only for him to be saved by his dashboard cam after he'd been canceled from everywhere, needs to have her name on the register.

Women who falsely accuse men of béatîng them need to have their names go on it too.
Misandrists have been going on a false rape accusation spree in the last 3 days. Countless men have been ruined and are being ruined.

BBNaija's Neo is the lastest victim: https://x.com/i/status/2023813392256184677 .

If you like trivialize your interactions with women. If you like don't save evidence backup to the cloud for years with even talking stages who got disappointed you didn't date them.
You will learn the hard way.

Nigerians are suffering. Simple. How is it hard for you to understand?

Oh I get it.
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Spy360(m): 2:33pm On Feb 18
By making election result transmission discretionary, the NASS has effectively put the Presiding Officers on a tight rope.

Voters will demand electronic transmission at the polling units, and if the PO says no network and that cannot be verified by the electorates, he will immediately be tagged a rigger and receive beatings.

I dey wait for them 😂

The Nigerians that are suffering or enjoying will decide at the polls in the next 12months on the direction they want to go
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by DissTroy(m): 2:56pm On Feb 18
Men are just realizing to have proof? Audio, video, text, pictures... Save every evidence.

https://x.com/i/status/2023856448854503490

Archive chats with women but never deleted. Save evidence then backup to a dedicated Gmail account. Gmail free version is 15GB. Save fo the drive. Add your trusted account so in case you ever lose login access, you can use an alternate login method.

Protect yourself. Even that coworker can accuse you. Save chats and call logs.

If that side girl calls you she's coming over, record it then. Chat her up like you could barely hear her so she responds. Screenshot then save. When she gets home, casually talk about activities while you did together before she went back home. No less than 12 years of saving evidence on my end.

War-reading even though I hope I never have to shot a cannon in defence. But stack up your armoury.

Neo is being asked to defend himself despite the girl no providing time, date, visual evidence like chats or anything.

Is it the Nigerians that their votes will count or the ones that will protest?

A huge protest is coming if the president signs the useless electoral bill.

That protest may see the end of this criminal government

Saw a Boeing 747 flying low this morning at Lagos and damn, that jetliner is actually beautiful. I always seem to think it's ugly prolly because of the ugly paint jobs I see of it in the 80s with that painfully ugly TWA airlines livery.

Seeing it a little upclose today changed my perspective. I was on the street trying to buy something this morning and looked up the approaching airplane and saw 4 jet engines— it piqued my interest as I initially thought it was an Airbus A380 by Emirates. As I couldn't see the Emirates name on it and how weirdly quiet the engines sounded compared to the past where I surely knew an Emirates or British Airways plane likely flew past my house because of the painfully loud and powerful sounds from the engines.... I got curious what I was looking at, not until I finally saw the hump, I visually confirmed it was the B-747.

Couldn't really pick the airline flying the plane as I was more concerned identifying what type it was. I just remember a white and light blue Paint job but the name was kinda blocked from my vision down below.

Lovely jet man. Really massive.

Didn't fully appreciate how massive and groundbreaking it was when I read about it in novels while as a kid.

The first wide body jet ever produced. I always thought it was ugly and not that big compared to newer planes. Seeing it first hand today was eye opening.
Can't believe this plane be flying for over 50yrs now.

Seeing how massive that plane is I wonder how an A380 would feel looking at it upclose or standing next to it.

Anytime I see a common man like myself that is resident in Nigeria and has lived the last 3 years under Tinubu's administration boasting and making promise to reward him with second term vote, I go just dey laugh in amusement. grin

Like, since this guy became president you have been buying petrol at almost x4 of the price it used to be. You have been paying more for electricity even though the national grid collapses every eke market day. You have been spending majority of your income on transport and feeding with little or nothing left to save. You find it hard to pay hospital bills in a decent private hospital without having to seek financial assistance from friends and relatives due to high cost of pharmaceutical products and medical supplies the hospitals use. You are even being forced to pay VAT on mobile transfer and USSD transactions you do via your bank account in addition to existing Stamp duty charges.

How do you go around telling anyone who cares to listen that the man responsible all of the aforementioned financial stress is the man you would want reelected for another 4 years? No be juju be that? Some would even boast about how he's a master strategist and legendary politician.... blah... blah.... blah...

I mean you can hardly point out to three ways in which the man's 3 year rule has made any aspect of your life any better than he met it. But somehow you would rather troll others and call them names for not being unreasonable to believe the fable titled " Relax, Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria"

We are indeed in amusing times in this country.

Normally I dey "siddon look mode" as things dey go, but I can't but point out how ridiculous it is for a common man who is not a card carrying member of the ruling party to be advancing thought of seeing this government continue to be in power; considering how they have noting to show for benefit of the common man in spite of how much they are taking from us in form of taxes, levies and increment in cost of public goods & services.

as a person who works adjacent to head office executives corporate entity where you face the reality of numbers and operating costs do you think the fuel and electricity subsidies are sustainable in 2026?

are you bothered that other nigerians are now having to pay their share of tax rather than corporate workers only?
