Amid defection rumours, the ruling APC has suspended State, Local Government and Ward Congresses in Abia and Adamawa States.

Recall, that Chairman of the Progressives Governors Forum, Governor Hope Uzodinma alongside his wife visited Governor Otti on New Year's Day, followed up by the President's Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila weeks ago.

Former Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo was also in the State yesterday on what was seen as the celebration of the Governor's 61st birthday celebration. Dr Otti has however remained adamant, promising to stick with the Labour Party.

For Ahmadu Fintiri (Adamawa Governor), the President visited the State yesterday commissioning projects including the new NYSC site named the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Orientation Camp, Malkohi, Yola.

How is he bullying them or intimidating?

And what stopped Atiku or Obi from doing the same bullying?

Don't blame the Man from having Charisma, something Atiku and Obi lacks.

Obi & Atiku are uninspiring to say the least, they both can't command respect amongst their peers, worst off is Obi.

He had Otti singing the same song with him, they were both on the same page. The next minute he was off to join a group where he's of less importance. He couldn't unify the different groups in LP.

Same thing with Atiku, a presidential candidate commands a high degree of respect in any political party, on two occasions, he blew it away. 2019 he flew out of the country and allowed Wike to gain the momentum. By 2023 his negligence, and inability to pacify different interests within the party led to cracks. You don't go into battle with our house burning down, but he did and he lost.

Now how on earth do you want Politicians to flock to these people? If they eventually do, then it means it's an option of last resort. When they lose out on Tickets, same way Otti left APC.

Tinubu wants to make sure he get the south just in case the north plays him any kind balablu

The north can be very funny they will surely stand behind dere son Atiku

The south east will decide the winner of this election because the north will team up behind Atiku (el rufai , kwankwaso will team up behind Atiku

If obi and south east team up with Atiku them then Tinubu will fight the battle of his life to win but if Obi stand as a candidate in another party just like 2023 will might have the repeat of 2023 elections

Otti will become a terrible person the moment he joins the APC. The people who are praising him now will all of a sudden see him as terrible and incompetent. In the same way, they used to abuse Obi until he ran for president, and he became their messiah. Funny people. grin

I sincerely hope that he does not join the the APC. We still need some politicians in the opposition parties.

If Otti defects to APC I will withdraw my support for him. Honestly I don't like to support party but individuals. BUT you see this party APC filled with wicked extremists it corrupts even the saints.
Abians cannot afford to lose this God gift of a Governor and his soul to APC...
APC should allow us enjoy good governance in peace... Suddenly those who hate and mock us are now visiting one of our only hope of good governance to destroy his soul just as they visited Governor Peter Mbah.
