You have to give it to Putin, he modernised Russia and prevented those european hawks in collusion with their corrupt oligarch friends to finish off Nigeria.
Putin is not a saint but he has a genuine love for his country and actually wants it developed.

after the fall of communism, Russia became a mess, the politicians were corrupt and they looted the country dry. The oligarchs embarked on capital flight to european countries aided by european banks while the hypocritical EU leaders looked the other way.
Then people use to call Russia is Nigeria with snow.

Putin ended that nonsense. He jailed any oligarch who wouldn't fall in line, he took back all industries that were privatised and revitalized them. He built new infrastructure, restructure the oil and gas industry and made sure the proceeds actually benefited the citizens.
say what u may about Putin, its undeniably Russians love him and that's why they refuse to dance to the international conspiracy tune against their leader.

What Africa needs is a leader like Putin. Firm, assertive, independent minded but also very much pro development and progress.

btw, I dont support his unjustified invasion of ukraine. I feels its unnecessary and just an steroid laden ego trip that leads to nowhere.

Russia is Cold, the people are very cold. In some parts of Russia there's nothing like night, it's 24 hours daylight. In other parts it's the complete opposite,you hardly see the sun.
