East Asians do not believe in Islam. A group of people who drink alcohol and eat pork will have a hard time fitting into Islam. East Asia has stringent laws, but they're not Islamic inspired.

Singapore which is Chinese dominated and has indigenous Muslims who are mostly Malay is remarkably safe, yet the ethnic Chinese do not believe or convert en masse to Islam. Even their cousins in neighbouring Indonesia and Malaysia rarely convert to Islam. Then, na those in Mainland China who will adopt Sharia related laws?
