Putin ended that nonsense. He jailed any oligarch who wouldn't fall in line, he took back all industries that were privatised and revitalized them. He built new infrastructure, restructure the oil and gas industry and made sure the proceeds actually benefited the citizens.
say what u may about Putin, its undeniably Russians love him and that's why they refuse to dance to the international conspiracy tune against their leader.

What Africa needs is a leader like Putin. Firm, assertive, independent minded but also very much pro development and progress.

Despite my strong criticism of USA for trying to be the police of the world, I think Russia really needs to be checkmate thoroughly if you understand the terrain there and their global activities. The inhumane treatment and a very nauseating attitude towards humanity. Russia needs to be checked. Excessive power is never good for them, they will misused it and run everyone down , Soviet union is a great case study.
