For me GEJ was a 101% sxxt president. But I am sure YOU can list some things you felt he did well.

Right now I can't think think of any outside of the comedy of 'dia is god oo! ' mama p.

Someone is highlighting specific pain points that the average Nigerian is dealing with.

Instead of pointing out the positives he might be overlooking, you imply that despite the hardship he's complaining about, Nigerians are still living fake life and he should be grateful that people who didn't pay tax in the past are now contributing their quota to what's essentially a botomless pit of embezzlement.

grin
Removal of subsidy has allowed Nigeria to move from a recurrent and massive operational spend to having money available for capital projects.

If governors are unable to turn their increased allocations into viable capital projects will you also blame tinubu for that?

I am sure you are seeing the story on FP about how gencos or discos have 6 trillion debt. Right now geometric energy is in a massive hole because their revenue cannot offset their investment.

You run a business so however much you pontificate, you will not invest in expensive new hardware if your clientele are not prepared to pay higher prices.

Until cost of power can match required investment we will continue throwing band-aids on a gushing artery.

as for security - the buck stops at tinubus table so that is on him.

Lol, and that's my point, you made the statement of leaders having their good and bad as though it was something you believed in, when in fact that was you just coping up a defence to people you're sentimental to.

People that see nothing good about the Tinubu presidency are entitled to that, same way you saw nothing good about the Jonathan presidency.

this is what i am saying - everyone if free to have their opinion - good bad, messianic about a leader.
what i am saying is that we don't need to attack others for their convictions at least when they are genuine
if you believe GEJ had the sun shining out of his arse, does that mean the rest of us should say you are always on the wrong side of history?

There's no capital project investment from the state or federal government that's translated in an improved quality of life for the average Nigerian.

I agree that Tinubu has made more funds available, but there's nothing on ground that indicates that wasn't him making more funds available for him, and others in the political elite to embezzle.

The suffering Nigerians are grappling with, in the name of much needed structural changes has been for so little, hopefully things get better, but you seriously should begin to consider that we might be going through hell for next to nothing.

@semid4lyfe

Some posters have devolved into broken records committed to spreading their own unique form of toxicity.

Examples of this are

Misogyny,
hatred of this administration,
religious fanaticism

They will come and regurgite whatever is being shared in their echo chambers

They are another reason for the block button. If you see that most or all of what comes from a poster is echo chamber bile you can make your choice.
In the spirit of freedom of opinion, people shouldn't be labelled toxic because they don't share your belief in the Tinubu-led administration.

are we not seeing different roads being commissioned in abia by otti?
where do you think the money comes from?

two years ago, festac link bridge was commissioned. because of that bridge i can be in surulere in 30 minutes when i leave my house. i can be in VI in 45 minutes. i do not have to worry about getting trapped in a mile 2 hold up and facing off three thugs breaking my window.

That is a quality of life increase, but na road we go chop i guess?

That bridge was started in 2012/2013 . You can have all the plans you want but if you don't have enough cash on hand, some projects will be put on hold.

i was in a meeting with LAMATA last week. they are rounding up construction of bus terminals around lagos. these projects were started during ambodes tenure. they were partially truncated by end sars when buses were burnt.

as a family man or business owner you have 101 things calling to be spent on and limited funds. the same happens with govt on a much larger scale. sometimes you as parent or business owner push for measures that require belt tightening but will be better for everyone in the long run. so when everyone starts complaining what do you do?

why label them when i can simply block them?

have i called anyone out ?

if you decide to make it your lifes work to be a prophet of doom spamming the board with copied and pasted articles that you don't understand - fortunately i can just block you. that is what the button is for , after all.

If 95% of my posts were celebrating the glory of APC and the golden age of tinubu you would get tired of reading my posts very quickly and just skip over tongue

You enjoyed being a prophet of doom under Jonathan, allow people enjoy same under Tinubu without getting labelled, in the spirit of freedom of opinion.

Anytime I see a common man like myself that is resident in Nigeria and has lived the last 3 years under Tinubu's administration boasting and making promise to reward him with second term vote, I go just dey laugh in amusement. grin

Like, since this guy became president you have been buying petrol at almost x4 of the price it used to be. You have been paying more for electricity even though the national grid collapses every eke market day. You have been spending majority of your income on transport and feeding with little or nothing left to save. You find it hard to pay hospital bills in a decent private hospital without having to seek financial assistance from friends and relatives due to high cost of pharmaceutical products and medical supplies the hospitals use. You are even being forced to pay VAT on mobile transfer and USSD transactions you do via your bank account in addition to existing Stamp duty charges.

How do you go around telling anyone who cares to listen that the man responsible all of the aforementioned financial stress is the man you would want reelected for another 4 years? No be juju be that? Some would even boast about how he's a master strategist and legendary politician.... blah... blah.... blah...

I mean you can hardly point out to three ways in which the man's 3 year rule has made any aspect of your life any better than he met it. But somehow you would rather troll others and call them names for not being unreasonable to believe the fable titled " Relax, Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria"

We are indeed in amusing times in this country.

Normally I dey "siddon look mode" as things dey go, but I can't but point out how ridiculous it is for a common man who is not a card carrying member of the ruling party to be advancing thought of seeing this government continue to be in power; considering how they have noting to show for benefit of the common man in spite of how much they are taking from us in form of taxes, levies and increment in cost of public goods & services.

1. The common man children are not sitting at home for ASUU strike since Tinubu took the reins of power

2. The common man children are able to access NELFUND student loan program to pursue their education without stop start

3. The various road construction and rehabilitation like the coastal road is being plied daily by the common man not the uncommon ones

4. Governor are no longer borrowing to pay the salaries of the common man

5. Common man no longer has to queue endlessly for fuel in the country

If they do not pay taxes, that means the burden of public financing falls only on the few. What is wrong in widening the tax net to contribute to the country

This is on point. Before that subsidy removal, many states were at risk of not meeting salary obligations. This is Theflint1 governor at that time telling us without subsidy removal, all states will struggle, Now the states are buoyant to give you dividends like freshly bakes bread by Monday Okpebolo

There was still ASUU strike in October 2025. It was even discussed here

NELFUND is a loan that was designed because the same government increased the tution fees across higher institution. We are talking about making the live of common man better and not cuasing a problem and giving a solution that leaves the common man in debt after completion of their education.

I won't even bother responding to anything regarding the coastal road that was awarded to a known thief who helped Abacha loot the country . The contract didn't even follow due process. How can anybody list that as making the life of common man better when we don't even know how much of our commonwealth has been stolen through the shady contract award?

All the so-called points u listed are weak and stinking. Normally I no even supposed respond because they did not address any of the issues raised in my original post.

Overall, governance across board has been poor, that there's one or two governors that seem like they're doing some work doesn't mean it hasn't been bad.

More money from the FG has translated into more money for theft, and the FG has been slacking on their end...Lucky was a poor governor, but people were a bit insulated from his maladministation because OBJ was somewhat competent.

The coastal road wasn't a priority, and those that have had their homes submerged because of a project that didn't follow due process would consider it a net negative.
