There is going to be an increase in such instances as Economy continues to deteriorate globally. Many people are going through tough times in diaspora but that shouldn’t serve as an excuse in indulging in criminal behavior because there are alternative menial jobs that one can engage in these countries but some feel too big to go engage in them resulting to such scenario. I have a friend who have been out of IT job for almost 3 years here in the US and I have suggested all sorts of jobs to him including even Correctional Facility job but he feels too big to go apply for it. This is a job that is very easy to get less than 40 days provided your record is clean.

Probably because he'll lose unemployment or benefits by working those jobs. Better to do something with your time and have little than work and have the govt take lion share
