Catholics do not fast on Sundays. Every Sunday is day of the Lord, a mini Easter, a day of celebration, so we do not fast.
If count all the days from Ash Wednesday to Holy Saturday, it should give you 46 days.
When you take away the 6 Sundays, you have your 40 days of Lent.

The final week of LENT is known as Week of the Passover.
Sunday of the same week is the Palm Sunday
Thursday is the Day of the Last Supper ( Holy Thursday or Maundy Thursday)
Next is Good Friday followed by Easter Sunday & Easter Monday.
