[quote author=Debayoibk post=138522981]I sleep at the back seat.. I roll down my back windows and use net..
Honestly it feels comfortable, if I work till around 2am , I won't wake early to work.
The only reason ill wake early around let's say 5am is to bath then go back to sleep.

Anytime I have to work midnight, I won't start work early, ill sleep till let's say 9am,.
Trust me, you will be energized for the next day work

Hmmmm. Very impressive bro. Omo e hailing go everly give u bread to chop as long as u get sound car. God is amazing. How many people dey earn this much. How many people go out in a day and come back with this much in one day shocked shocked.

And all that talk about it's taking a toll on ur car. grin ur car is built to be in d road. I have used multiple cars on this platform and that theory is zero. Calculating depression visavis what u earn then u are in profit wen depression is at zero on balance sheet. U earn and u still have a car at the end of everything. Just maintain ur car. Pls use coolant oooo use original parts treat ur car better than ur wife grin. Cause she spits money out unless ur wife gains for ur family ofcourse grin

My brother God bless ur hustle and replenish ur strength. I just dey smile at ur dashboard. Very sexy dashboard grin

Well done, it will get better.
If u listened to someone saying until u work 24hrs, sleep, bath and brush in ur car before u make 50k take home profit u wouldn't have tried.
This is a first timer o, so if u are in this thread and u allowing failures to shit on ur parade, u will only have yourself to blame.
Don't you think that driving from 6am to 6pm will easy destroy his car?

This your 3rd paragraph made me laugh so hard I almost pass bus stop way i dey go, if not for the bus driver that reminded me grin grin grin

As someone that solely does overnight driving, I understand what was going through your mind. I experienced it a lot when I first started, that's before I stop going everywhere and I picked places I know very well and stuck to them (surulere, akowonjo, ikeja). I carry mostly oloshos/runs girls going from their house to club, or from one club to another. I always call. If I call and it's a guy on the line, I assess the voice...if I'm not comfortable with the person's spirit, i just cancel. If I get to pick up point, and there are multiple guys and I'm not comfortable with them, I just drive off. But that rarely happens. Really, 90% of my late night riders are female. ..and most time, solo female. I even turned one of my late night encounters with one young girl to a story (using my alternate nairaland acvount). I would have posted it here, but I no wan derail

I love working at night though...I love eavesdropping on conversations from these oloshos...omo, truth is stranger than fiction.
What happened to her?

it's direct toks bro not repaired or something I entered the warehouse with the AC guy ask him to pick the one that is ok and he pick and fix it. It has been working ever since. Asking how long it has lasted is not the point because this is toks not brand new you can buy your so expensive one and it will not last too but I was given a period of one month warranty. See eh when it comes to part buying just know where to go to. Na from here most people from far and wide too come to buy part

What happened to her?
I picked her up from one dark road around Olowu in Ikeja, and then she asked me to make a detour that she wants to buy something. The girl was young...probably like 21 or 22, and dressed like a tomboy. She wasnt the regular kind of girls i pick up at that time of the night, Omo...na so we make a few turns and ended up in one weed spot with many rough looking guys outside (mostly junkies). When she went to get the stuff, I thought it was a set up cos she took too long to come out and the guys were looking at my car. Then one of the guys approached me and tried to forcefully open the door. I wound down and asked why he was struggling with my door. I later found out he was a junkie that was very hungry. I gave him Gala and he left.

When the girl came out, he grabbed her by the arm and they spoke briefly. The girl later told me the guy used to be her guy, and was doing very well till he got hooked on drugs. We gisted throughout the journey from ikeja to ikotun, and it felt I was gisting with a younger sister at some point. And then when we got to the drop off spot, which happened to be a hotel, the guy she was going to meet came out...and before she dropped, she said in a low voice, "pray for me, this is my first time doing this." The whole encounter was just really weird.

For a piece of solid metal built to actually be on d road?. No sir. Driving style matters also. I have changed several cars over d years on these platforms and wen selling d buyers never knew I used Dem for e hailing.

Imagining using Mobil 1 Tru out. Ur engine will be as new. Having solid maintenance culture. Not dragging road with mad men and flying every pothole like the car won't drive flying dem undecided.

See ur car as a human being or rather a horse. Our fathers had to treat their beasts well cause their lives and that of their households depended on it for transport agriculture etc.

So praying for strength to drive and mental physical emotional spiritual health is more important ooo. Leave d car na machine wey no get feelings of tiring. The only tiring na bad maintenance. grin grin
