Nigeria has no central command for information collection during incidents and no stand by force to respond during incidents like jihadist attack. Ask yourself if your community is under Gun men attack who will you call that will respond in 30 minutes. We cannot continue like this because the next attack will killed more 500 people and we don't know where it will happen. Nigeria should expand 112 call response to cover all Nigeria and a stand by force including the Airforce to respond in time and save lives. My tears came down seeing video of a woman gun down by Jihadist dying and still trying to stop her 4 year old son from crying while holding her 10 year old son who is already dead. Nigeria villages in the middle belt is been destroyed while politicians are talking about 2027. |

eejo:The bigger issue here is needing intelligence to foil those attacks. Our intelligence gathering needs to be improved so those attacks can be stopped before it happens. |

eejo:Do you still remember this, sir eejo? Some people on here still await your action on it, and do hope it would be soon. |

No emergency response team, just incompetent people main focus is to loot, I pray it doesn't consume us one day. |

eejo:Sir eejo it's frustrating and concerns are real. Who will you call indeed? The 112 call response is a good start, but it's not enough. We need a centralized system that connects the dots between security agencies and emergency responders. And a standby force, including the Airforce, is crucial for swift response. It's heartbreaking to think about that woman and her children. We need action, not just words |

SpaceX:My Community lost 2 men fighting Jihadist in a battle that last for 24 hours and no security forces came to our rescue. We won killing many recovering Id cards , phones and other things. Security forces came 24 hours later. Imagine if my Community has no defenders we would have become IDPS by now |

eejo:Wow! May God Continue to protect you, sir eejo. While being reliant on God's Divine protection is sacrosanct, being pragmatic - by taking proactive action, is important too. Both worked out favorably for you, sir eejo. |

eejo:Our leaders are more concerned about winning the next elections so they have no time to check or make sure adequate emergency response are on ground. Are we even sure the 24hrs delay by the security forces wasn't delibrate ![]() This country gives me headaches honestly and I know about 150 million citizens feel the same way too. |
| Re: Why Nigeria Security Forces Cannot Stop The Killings By Jihadist by Yemike(m): 7:50pm On Feb 07 |
eejo:The sad part of it is that our leaders feels less concerned about the insecurity plaguing this nation as far as it doesn't affect their 2027 ambition. We need leaders who are intentional about keeping this country safe and not the paper tigers that only defend her with their mouth alone. I pray your ambitions are realized sir eejo, you're a good soul. |

eejo:With due respect, this issue is going to touch everyone untill we are ready for a reset in this country. Lives will be lost more this year.I lost too many love ones for such stories to move me. I'm now supporting the government fully since we don't want to have sense in this country. Just day before yesterday, my community was under attack for more than 24hrs, no security personnel came around until the next day. Then our politicians started sharing blame and all that, some even visited my village, come and see me hailing them na! I was shouting honourable honourable, no vacancy in 2027 and all praises. Deep down, I know we have a failed system with unfit individuals in power but nobody has monopoly of phoolishness so until we are ready, this is how we will continue to die like chickens, me inclusive. Just waiting for my time to come |

kpakpakpa:Nawao please be positive. Move out of that place or relocate first to a safer place. We know the government has failed us and it's not today. Don't give up abeg. |
| Re: Why Nigeria Security Forces Cannot Stop The Killings By Jihadist by kpakpakpa(m): 8:08pm On Feb 08 |
Thomthom:I will never give up on life but that is what is on ground if am telling the truth. Google what happened in Benue state recently and you will get the gist. Some of us are at the mercy of herdsmen with nowhere to go, I have already accepted my fate but trust me, I will never go down alone, the day I met them, I will die with one of them for sure. The op is talking about emergency services which sounds like a joke to me. Like who will be in charge even an emergency services center is established? Same terrorist right? I'm not ranting, what my eyes has seen these past years, if I say it, you will think that I'm exaggerating things too much. How can a lonely deaf person protect himself right here? I don't fear death anymore and such stories like what the op posted don't move me. I repeat, this is how we will continue to go and meet our creator one by one till we get sense. |
