Their licence upgrade was not automatic, if they don't meet up, they remain with the original licence grade.

What about Opay, Moniepoint, etc?

No problem,banks that didn't meet up,can downgrade from national to regional banks however before the said date,they may likely meet up.

Judging from my recent experience opening business account with them, I think they are far below others in terms of banking services, reason majority of people don't bank with them. To use their Mobile app, they charge me almost 3k, and you need to generate one silly digits numbers from different second app installed before you make transaction on main app. They don't provide SMS service or banking alerts, you have to check the app if someone send money to you.

With all this, it might be difficult for them to attract big businesses or wealthy people to bank with them. And if they don't have much costomers to build liquidity, how will they meet up with current CBN mandatory deposit.

May be Virtually but Behind the Scene, the Bank has Concluded its Consolidation since but,you know,it has to be brought back from the NSE ( Nigeria Stock Exchange)-Suspension, and the Process of announcement,
Fixing the Exact Prices (N),etc,will take time but Union Bank is well on the ground and it's Consolidation is Successful.
