But she apologised after he spoke to her because he was dragged into it
This as been going on and he left her alone until now he was dragged
Am I still making assumptions?
He is a celebrity who won't risk getting cancelled by the mob hence why he just had to bow to pressure and have her set things straight with her antagonists before his craft is dragged into the mess.

If she wasn't married to Adekunle Gold won't they make do with just dragging her and moving on?

But it is well sha. I wish all parties involved best of luck

I don't do all this whole gender war and "them vs us" takes when it comes to matters involving the two genders. I look at things from a logical point of view and not from the prism of pre conceived whataboutism.

A woman decided to have a spat with people online based on her own opinion. The right and reasonable thing to do is for the people who disagree with her to dig it out with her.

Crossing over to start dragging her husband up and down just doesn't make any sense to me. Simple.
Hopefully, your wife doesn't misbehave badly in your neighborhood. That's when you'd realize Mummy Cynthia who owns the the supermarket down your street you're cordial with joining in to term you a weak man who can't control his home.

Ever heard, "Oga, control your wife nau?"

Our society still deems a man responsible for his woman.

Ask yourself why the laid-back Adekunle Gold had step in and it was so important for Simi to mention he stepped in so it doesn't seem like he's a husband who's lost control of his home?

She had to mention it to placade her in-laws too.

Is it really possible to drag one spouse and leave the other?

If wife dey craze for market, you think say people no go use that same eye look the husband the next day?

I think his dragging was inevitable, not like he deserved it
Simi and AG are not new to it.
Everytime she says something that doesn't conform, AG gets dragged. I am sure I have seen it happen not once or twice. Maybe it got really heated this time.

lolz. grin

Woman comes online to talk about an issue, a lot of people called her out for her opinion, and she kept dragging with them. Dragging her husband for the spat they had with her makes them appear weak. There's no two ways about it.

All this talk about control you wife do not apply here. It only shows they can't successfully have her account for her actions but needed her husband to be the cannon fodder they can take out their vexation on.

I suspect it's because she was acting as if she's not moved by the dragging she was getting, that's why they had to go for her husband who shared absolutely no opinion on the matter.

I don already tire for this back and forth over a matter that is actually a non-issue to start with .

Dispatch rider delivered a parcel to Sarah Martin's (I don't know what she does but I guess she's a celebrity). After he successfully delivered the parcel, he later chatted her number on WhatsApp and was professing love for her.

She reported him to his company and now he's been sacked. Some Nigerians are saying she went too far and shouldn't have made him lose his job.

But methinks the guy doesn't value his job, if he does he would learn not to shiiit where eats. Shey he no fit look for lover outside his work space?

Calabar-Lagos coastal highway

Is it me or are these streetlights just a complete waste of money for a county with massive electricity challenges?

Here in UK. our motorways don't have streetlights for the most part, except at busy intersections. Just reflective cat eyes and your own car light is all you need to drive on an expressway at night

LOL. Janemena the stripper dancer, twerks online. It's because her husband allows it.

McMbakara's wife sexualizes herself to men online and jumps on them, simulating sex like in the old school Kerewa videos. He gets blamed because he allows it

Mercy Johnson stopped taking on roles where she's in sexual positions when she got married. Immediately she began going ultra-feminist on Ned Nwoko in support of Regina, her husband took the heat. He likely called her to order and she's stayed off such gender war cases since then. She'd have been all over this Mirabel's case if not for her experience with the Regina debacle.

Nkechi Blessing got too crude and her boyfriend took the heat. He only got a break when he left her.

It's not about what I think or you think. I don't think there's anybody here who treats his woman as a commodity. I like opinionated women - I've said it. But I like women being logical while enjoying their freedom of opinion.

Simi has always been more emotional than logical when it comes to gender issues. Society expects her husband to correct her.

She's Mrs. Kosoko? She took on his name and became his by law.

He deserves to get sacked and also bad reference for his next prospective employer

It's like Nigerians don't understand data protection

A phone number of a client/customer/patient is private protected data and is only to be used for the delivery of the service the company is engaged for

If he professed love when handing over the parcel, it will be seen as a cheeky and playful shooting of shot. To use her phone number for the purpose of chiking her is a data breach and he deserves the sack. No company will want an employee that lacks basic common sense. He is a walking liability to that company

So the solar and lights are free and not an additional cost to the project?

Anybody with eyesight bad enough not to be guided by reflective cat eyes and car lights on motorway should have their licence withdrawn

interesting

i will tell you driving in naija at night is often very stressful because of absence of lighting

the solar lights are a game changer - because normally regular street lights require generator, diesel and security for the power supply cable

these lights are plug, play and forget until time for periodical panel cleaning or battery relacement

cheap , stingy, miserly ebenezr scrooge brits. finally dayo has a legitimate one up on y'all

Now Adekunle Gold has manned up to control his wife. Simi has apologized, stating her husband is angry, her in-laws are too, and it's causing a rift in her marriage:

I'm yet to see a video of the supposed apology sha...GLB is known for telling outright lies.

This reminds me of a similar situation in my compound that happened when i first moved.

One Indian woman called German Police for a delivery guy that was chyking her.

Delivery guys need to face front and mind their business. Women process threat and danger different to men especially since she was from India that has some of the worst men on earth

It is immaterial whether na billionaire approach her or trillionaire.

The lady's phone number was only given to him so he can do his job of delivery and move on. His employers didn't hand him her number so he can be professing love to her and harassing her with unsolicited WhatsApp message.

The guy clearly overstepped his boundary and got consumed by his mess up.

Exactly! I see a lot of Nigerians getting emotional and lashing out at the lady for reporting the dispatch rider. They claimed she made him lose his job over trivial matter like professing his love.

A lot of Nigerians don't understand what acting professional is all about. They casualize everything, they expected the lady to consider the unemployment rate before making him lose his job. But they are not seeing things from the angle that it is the guy that should first think of his job security before making such thoughtless decision.

also, how many nigerians will tolerate the aboki packing their rubbish or one artisan called into their house to work toasting their daughter?
they will immediately understand that it is not right

Yeah, a man will most likely enjoy the attention if a sales girl in a supermarket says she loves him and won't mind getting down with her. A lady on the other hand will most likely freak out seeing a dispatch rider professing love for her especially when the man already knows her house and has her phone number. She may assume she's in danger

Here in UK. our motorways don't have streetlights for the most part, except at busy intersections. Just reflective cat eyes and your own car light is all you need to drive on an expressway at night
spambot ate my post

because of numerous infrastructural issues and safety, streetlights are strongly recommended for roads in general and lagos roads in particular

you have trailers without proper light ,
big potholes
traffic robbers
broken down trailers without any hazard light or flare or anything
obstructions like dividers, pipes etc

and if we had proper road lighting maybe roads would be cleaned and repaired at night instead of during the day

legacy street lights requires cable,, conduit, requires generator and diesel and internal pole cabling

cable is regularly stolen and vandalized
generator means maintenance and operating cost

the solar lights eliminate all of the wahala of conduit, wire , theft.
you don't need nepa or generator as power supply so reduced total cost of ownership

what you have to do though is periodical cleaning of the solar panel, and maybe replacement of the battery in 4 to 5 years
this means you need a vehicle with a worker lift
theft/vandalisation is possible but it is much more difficult and can be counted by putting spikes at points on the lighting pole

now pay me angry - i know what you are really doing is reviewing road construction proposal from your governor clients
