Nobody is saying colleagues shouldn't date. Nobody says a banker should not date their customer.

We are saying it is wrong for you to get a customer's number via your boss strictly for the sole aim of delivering a service to her only for you to exploit that to be chatting her later and professing love. Most employers will fire you or suspend you the moment you are reported by the customer.

If he was a dispatch rider and just approached her randomly with the intention to toast her, she can always tell him no, maybe insult him or accept his proposal. But he chatted her via her number which his employers gave to him for the sole purpose of carrying out a delivery. It is only normal that he gets reported for stepping beyond his boundary and getting smoked for it.
