Let's assume the salary on that account is pegged at 100k.

100k × 5615 = 561,500,000/month

561,500,000 × 12 = 6,738,000,000 a year

O bobs...see mo-neeey!!!

Exactly why I said the lady too is corrupt. Na trailer pass their middle.
How can you finish such report and take it to the private residence of the governor or his family.
That's not the point. The main issue is the non implementation of the report. So whether she took the report to his residence or his toilet is inconsequential here.

Furthering this again, Taking the report to his private residence doesn't connote an intention of corruption on her part.

If the governor (Principal) says, "bring it to my residence", what would she do? She should say No?

Kindly go back and read about the issue before now, you will see the trace of corruption in the deal.
The contract the state (gov) had with her was that the payment would be tied to cost savings, meaning for every 1ghost worker discovered, the company get a certain amount.
How does the company make profit? maximize the number of ghost workers.
How were they awarded the contract? Selective bidding, so the company was the only one selected.
Was there a relationship between them before? Yes, dem be padi

How’s 1,143,000 x 12 = 13.716 billion?
I’m still shock as to how 1,1,43,000*12 equals 13.716 billion

What hypocrisy??
Are you not an hypocrite by pretending you were not one of the promoters of Adeleke.
After Una don collect money but get disagreement over future money, Una go dey form saint.
What prompted the promotion of Adeleke to become gov in the first place, let's even ignore certificate, what job experience either in public or private enterprise prompted the support if not money?
Even with noise of bubu failed in his certificate, e get soldier experience, Tinubu get experience working for private entity, atiku get for customs, obi get for bank, despite the questionable certificate of those listed or their low grade in sch, dem still get experience.
Ọya mentioned why you supported Ademola Adeleke considering the way you were against anyone that disagreed with your choice then?
Either you did it for money or you are a hypocrite

How possible.?
How come?
This is not about government or politics also not civil servants corruption but Indictment of our institutional systems.
Every bank app will automatically flag even 2 not to talk of over 5000.
Every technology system in place from the civil servants platform to the paying bank will flag it so if it was not flagged then all are compromised.

Osun: There Was A Particular Account That Had 5,615 Salaries Going Into It Every Month—Ottun Reveals

The Chief Executive Officer of Sally Tibbox Consulting, Saadat Ottun, has revealed that her firm uncovered thousands of ghost workers and significant payroll irregularities during a staff audit for the Osun State Government. Ottun disclosed the figures during an interview on Channels Television on Thursday, February 19, 2026.

Responding to questions on the scale of the alleged fraud, she said, “So, the state submitted 37,456 workers. At the end of the day they went on to submit another a few of them more, making 39,456.” She continued, “Of this 39,456 8,452 did not show up and the amount of money being used to pay those is 1,143,000 every month and that amounts to over 13.716 billion a year.”

Ottun further addressed discrepancies in the pension payroll. “Also, the pensioners when we asked how many there were for pensioners, they said that they were over 17,000 pensioners but when we did the full audit of all the pensioners both home and abroad, because they said some were in the diaspora and what have you and we used, I mean communication has really you know, advanced and we used Zoom to call the ones that were supposedly abroad and we found out that of the figures submitted, 5,831 were non-existent,” she said.

She noted that the verification process lasted 12 months and covered all parts of the state. “There’s nowhere within Osun State, where we were working in Oshogbo there, there’s nowhere in that state, no corner in that state that would take a year between that corner and coming to Oshogbo to do whatever it is you wanted to do which took only five minutes,” Ottun stated.

The audit, she said, covered workers and pensioners across state-owned institutions, local governments, and the state government.

Ottun also alleged cases of multiple salary payments into single bank accounts. “In a situation where you’re getting paid electronically through the banks but you have one single account, one single account, taking 962 salaries per month, one single account linked to only one BVN and one name and one bank account, taking 962,” she said.

She added, “In fact there was a particular account that had 5,615 salaries going into it every month.”

Ottun questioned internal oversight mechanisms, stating, “The Ministry of Finance is there, they should be the ones superintending on payroll, the Office of the Accountant General is there, the Office of the Human Resources is there. How would you look at people getting paid, you know, some get double.

Be careful to not owe a woman. The whole wide world will get to know what was cooking on the grill before the house caught fire! For instance who knew that Deji Adeleke was that deeply involved in State affairs in Osun State!! Private Video was on tv showing the matter!

Mr Olujoba, You are still deflecting sir.

First You said that the woman has a corrupt intention by taking the audit report to the governor's residence and I countered it.

Now you are saying the contract the state (gov) had with her was that the payment would be tied to cost savings, meaning for every 1ghost worker discovered, the company get a certain amount.

In fact when the report was submitted, the governor was there too. They all took pictures together
"Paddy" indeed! Dr. Deji Adeleke,Davido's dad,is governor Adeleke's elder brother. The question is: in what capacity was the report submitted to him — as what?

I'm not picking a side, thief is a thief.
No less sin. The two of them should drag their case to court to collect their money if their hands is clean. This isn't a case of opposition party dragging the gov.
Except you are also in the same group with the op, that's the only thing that can make you pick sides in this case.

And you want to say the contractor and governor are not in bed together.
Probably sharing ratio was the reason for outburst. They are all trying to seek public sympathy after defrauding the people of their commonwealth

You last statement and your last paragraph says a lot about your understanding on this matter. My advice is, don't draw your conclusion based on what they posted here on nairaland, go to youtube (@Channels Tv) and watch the interview session with the woman.
It will give you better understanding.
You can tune your tv to channels tv now again they are addressing the issue.

Trailer passing in between the two or not passing, the question should be: is it true that that this monumental fraud was uncovered, is it also true that nothing was done about this anomaly and is the government of Osun still paying out to ghost workers till now. Way forward if the probing questions get a yes answer should then be how do we get the papertrators to face the music without sparing anyone involved in the looting. Other concerns can sorted after the funds have recovered and the thieves sent to gaol.
