dependent Visa, you think it's temporary No, when she gets there she makes you a permanent dependent, she holds the rope like when you have a Dog tamed to a piller, she will definitely be brainwashed by bad association whse job is to scatter families, they look nice they speak very nicely with sweet voice buy they're going to work on her Nigerian mentality against you
What this means is that she hold the power to refuse you to continue living under her her visa if you refuse to pay 100% house rent because she will soon be brainwashed that she can't do 50/50 with you even when she earns times 3 than you

As she lands over there there's pressure to pay bills from day one, as tension starts you wish to remember her that does she forgot that you funded her? That's where the reality starts setting in, you're bound to follow her instructions... your phone lines can be monitored secretly and she gets to see some few relatives you send few monies to,

Please take care of yourself and your future. Women don't look back at what you do for them but rather questioning you what did you achieve. They will rather be looking up to someone higher than you as a role model instead of them humble before you and appreciate the risk you took for them. You can help your wife but help yourself first in order to place yourself higher both financially and in status.

I knew a man who had a well paying job in Nigeria with two landed properties. He lived in one with his family. He decided to japa with his wife without selling either of the properties. If you sponsor your wife for Nursing in U.K. the probability that you will last the next three years in your marriage is 1/10. I have seen many things happen in U.K. within the short period that I have been here.

You know your wife do what you think fits into that character traits. It's on you don't get advice online based on people that don't know know the context.

My advice candidly depends on who your wife is to you.

If you don't trust her well, please go get your masters first to avoid the story that touches

You know your wife more than the public you are seeking their advice. If she's a family oriented person, sponsor her nursing career because of she lands a job the entire family will benefit because nurses can sponsor immediate families. Your Msc will make no sense to the family because you can neither secure a sponsorship job with it for yourself or your dependents. I'm speaking from experience because I'm in the system and I know that the uncertain UK immigration laws favor nurses and doctors who are well above RQF level6

Sponsor your wife. She stands a better chance and more prospects of getting better job, even in other places like the US. With 8 years experience, she should sit for her NCLEX and extend her job search beyond the UK. Don't listen to people advising otherwise. If she's determined and knows what she's doing, push her more to succed while you encourage her. On your own part, study trade related courses or find jobs in care sector to use and hold body. That your profession will be difficult to see job in the UK.

Sponsor your wife. She is already a nurse. The amount for self sponsor is probably around 5-6m. Dependent is allowed and you can also study that way. This is wife situation. Don’t live in other people fear or tragedy. If you think you have a good woman. Help the family.
