Not with the crack down sweeping across Europe. After destroying their country with Islamic extremism, they fled to Europe to rinse and repeat.

If you say most spoken โ€˜Nativeโ€™ language in Europe, yes, but most spoken language in Europe is English.

Even Russians speak English. How many English speakers speak Russian Language?

English is the defacto second language in Europe outside UK and Ireland. In fact in countries like Norway, Sweden and The Netherlands, it's slowly competing seriously with the native language.

Russian has more speakers than what's posted there, however after English it's the 2nd defacto language especially in Eastern Europe.

English first.
French second
Spanish third
Etc
This is wrong. How many people speak English as a native language in Europe outside the British Isle?

Russian is spoken not just in Russia as a native language, but in former USSR countries.

Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Armenia etc, All these counties have native Russian speakers.

English only has England, Wales, Scotland, N. Ireland and Ireland with native speakers of English.

French is just in France, Belgium Switzerlsnd and Andorra. That's where you'll find native speakers.

German has Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and parts of Poland. Don't forget the German influence in science and engineering that made many eastern Europeans to start learning German as a second Language in the 90s.

What's wrong there?

We are talking about native speakers here

Do you even understand what is meant by native speakers?

How many people in Europe are English?

How many people in Europe are Russians?

What's their population like?

You can fact check instead of thinking it's a propaganda. Ask yourself between Russia and UK which is more populated. You don't just end there some part of USSR speak the Russian language so those countries today part of them speak Russian language like in Ukraine for an example.
You've hit the nail in the head. A lot of money is changing hands (not for this OP though, he's just the manual labourer alongside his alt account writer NG) an investigative journalist could have a field day.

English is the world's most spoken language followed by mandarin. Mandarin is the most spoken language in china but not the only language.
English by virtue of second language and mandarin as the highest by natives.
Ok fine, let's do the maths by population

English speaking countries assuming all their citizens speak English
UK over 70 million
Nigeria over 250 million
USA over 340 million
Canada over 42 million
Australia over 27 million
New Zealand over 5.4 million
South Africa over 64 million
Kenya over 56 million
Zimbabwe, Zambia, namibia and their likes that speak English in their countries over 200 million.
Put all that together e never still reach one billion (I.e assuming everyone in those countries speak English oooo)

Then mandarin in only china 1.5 billion people

Which one big pass?
It's just a simple maths up there.
I just wanna make common sense

This is how some people think their brain is firing on full cylinders then fail big in small WAEC. In continental Europe, no one natively speaks English outside of UK, Ireland, Gibraltar, Isle of Man and maybe only a small minority in Malta. That's around 70 to 75 million.

Russian is natively spoken in Russia, East of Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia, Estonia, Moldova. That's more than 130 million in Europe alone. No other language comes close.
The Scandinavian countries of Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and even the Netherlands on Continent Europe speak very fluent English.

The Scandinavians have ancestral ties with several parts of the United Kingdom haven carried out several raids on villages for plunder and settled as Danish and/or Norwegian Vikings on the British Isles many centuries back and they fathered children who had blonde hairs like them
. So, this ancestral link definitely spurred the Scandinavians to learn to speak fluent English in their homelands as well as their individual or native languages.

This is why reading and comprehension is an underrated skill. Modern Scandinavians speak English fluently mainly because itโ€™s taught from a young age in schools and widely used in media, not due to ancestry from the British Isles. Distinction here is "NATIVE".
Scandinavians/Nordic don't speak English natively. They speak Danish, Swedish, Finnish or Norwegian or Icelandic.

The question was asked wrong.

The right question is what's the most widely spoken language in Europe.

And the answer to that is English, just like in the rest of the world.

English is the most important language in the world.

It's so interesting that even major countries like Germany, Russia, and China have universities where all the courses are taught in English.

Answer to your Europe widely spoken language:

English (Total): While native speakers are around 67 million, it's the most widely understood, with ~200 million total speakers including second-language users.

What the blab are you are talking about?

I spoke only English when I visited Norway and most of them heard me. Same with Finland. Even Poland though I didn't go there but a friend there spoke only English until he learned Polish.

You guys will just wake up from wherever you are and start telling stories as if you are talking to some village rats in one hole angry
But "some village rats in one hole" doesn't know that Norwegian and Finnish people speak Norwegian and Finnish language natively, they don't speak English as their mother tongue. They learn English as a 2nd language in school or EC classes. It's similar to how English is widely spoken in Nigeria but English is not native language in Nigeria. Native language = Mother tongue. English Comprehension 101.

Learn to make your points without sounding cocky or making knee-jerk responses to people's posts without comprehending what is being ORIGINALLY conveyed! Your first sentence was totally needless and you aren't talking to an uneducated or semi-literate person here. I grew up reading massive volumes of encyclopedia in my family home library from several decades ago (over 5 decades ago) and I know full well the meaning of "NATIVE."

You made some valid points in your first post and even this post that I'm responding to and I merely chipped in some historical FACTS or insights about the Scandinavian relationship with the British Isle to make the subject matter wider. Period.

Arabs don't go to England to go and live but just for pleasure. Perhaps you are alluding to the growing numbers of Muslims in England/UK generally. They are mostly from Indian, Pakistan, Bangladesh and lately Afghanistan.

Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Paashto and Dari is more likely to be spoken in England than Arabic.

I mean I appreciate the historical context you threw on it, no doubt the Viking connections are fascinating. But when we talk about a โ€˜nativeโ€™ language, we mean mother tongue. Iโ€™m sure your decades of encyclopedias would agree that facts and definitions matter as much as historical anecdotes.
