CCTV footage has captured the shocking moment a man narrowly escaped a tragic incident at an auto repair shop.

In the video, the man is seen standing on one side of an inspection pit, directing the driver to park over it. Suddenly, the driver accelerated unexpectedly, almost running the man over. Thanks to his quick instincts, the man jumped into the pit just in time as the vehicle drove over it.

The video has sparked various reactions online. Some viewers believe the driver acted intentionally, while others argue that, since the incident occurred at an auto mechanic shop, the car could have been faulty, and the brakes might have failed.

The driver of that vehicle internally wanted to kpai him.

That was a deliberate act by the driver, perhaps a Yahoo boy, and the driver should be charge for attempted murder

Work hazards!

But conducting directions around cars is risky and one should be shaperly alert around dem.

That was how i was overseeing our truck driver when he was reversing. He nearly crushed me to a nearby wall. This happened at a work-site.

The man is a fool. He had better chances jumping on the hood rather than diving into the pit.

In automobile maintenance, part of the safety measures to curb vehicles falling into the pit due to poor driving in auotomobile maintenance workshops or lube bays is that customers are not allowed to drive in their cars because not all drivers can drive accurately and position their car on a pit.

The workshop technician who has been trained and have consistently mastered the pit and know how to position the tyres does this job, so customers stop outside the pit and the technician takes over to position the vehicle on the pit for oil drain or other maintenance services.
