That you have to come here for feedback tells that something is broken. You should know what you want at this stage in your life. Since the goal is to Jakpa, any one whether you or your wife as the dependant is fine. Except you are scared of the narrative in terms of what women do when in the UK. If that is not your problem, work towards ensuring that the dependant can earn more while working. Not just earning more. But earning more and supporting.

Take my one Kobo, go to Sweden, Austria, Norway, or even Australia or New Zealand instead of UK. UK go stress you financially because of some of their crazy clauses my best bet for you is Sweden, meanwhile instead of your wife doing the master's you do it, especially because you have children. But if she should be the one doing that then you have to be strategic in leveraging on creating unique stream of income, for Sweden if your kids are still young there are supports they can enjoy.

As someone who also relocated via the student route and saw how some students deserted their spouses after school, I would advise you to be the main applicant (student). Project Management is a good course in the UK. In addition, your wife does not necessarily need a master's degree as a registered nurse to thrive in the nursing field. So with or without, she go dey alright.

You made the right decision. In 2023, a colleague of mine mentioned that he wanted to bring in his Nigerian girlfriend to the UK through study route. I advised him to take caution but he insisted that he trusted the lady and his grandmother also wanted him to marry the lady cos the granny was fond of the lady. Few months later, he helped the lady sorted out her school fees deposit, flight and visa fees. Was surprised when the guy recently mentioned to me that they parted way shortly after the lady arrived. In his words "That lady show me shege to the point wey I dey go sleep for my friend house".

Make na invest that money for na life or sibling life.

.... especially with generic course like construction. Sponsorship is like gold now. I personally know two that have done their masters in the UK here but are being forced to go back to Nigeria because there are no sponsors.

If you have sense, you go for your Master's Degree. You must always be ahead of your wife. Otherwise, you will have a story that touches the bumbum eventually. It is not that easy out here for a woman to survive alone, and if she is able to do it in your absence, she would feel no need for your presence anymore. Ire o!

My guy. The wife of my friend is from a poor background. If you grew up in Ibadan and I describe the spot where the mother of this lady roasted Bọọli (roasted plantain) you willl know the family. The elder sister continues roasting Booli there as present. Their mother is dead. That is their family business. We grew up to know the family in the business. She got to the UK and became arrogant.

My guy forgot something and came back home on the way to work. Just to meet another man with her at home. He was furious and ge started beating her. The randy lover called the police on the staircase while leaving. They came and bundle the guy out. Before you know it he was deported. He came back and became miserable. He lost his mind and like I heard the lady’s family supported their daughter.

What are you saying?
