Sugarboyy:It is possible that there was no MTn network at the place. I am sure they do POs business there. They must be using other network. Most villages don't have all the networks available to them. It is not possible for Ekiadolaor to have no Network at all. I use to visit that place a lot when the college was still functional. |

completeskills:MTN is much stronger in most places in Edo State. If MTN network is bad, others would be worse. That said, I will really like to know why some of you guys, if you are one of them, thinks real time transmission of results would translate to Obi winning Tinubu? I'm from Esan and no Esan person based in Edo state would leave who our brother supports and vote an Obi. Same way no Auchi person would leave who Oshiomhole support and vote Obi. I'm very sure same thing applies to Akpabio, Barau, Yayi, Opeyemi Bamidele, etc. so make una they calm down |

franchasng:Starlink same one Elon Musk owns? The same Elon must who has repeatedly said he doesn't advice elections to be electronic. The owner of starlink believes it can be hacked and you want us to use the same starlink that the owner is discouraging his own country from using? Do you understand that using starlink means you automatically hand INEC over to the US and Elon Musk? You no longer have control over your own elections as a country? Please how old are you and what is the name of that university you graduated from again? |

franchasng:Why do you guys love doing this, tinubus source of wealth has never been questionable, even the fbi noted he was earning over 2000 usd as at that time before the forfeture case , he came back and still worked in mobil I have an old uncle who was his work colleague back then . Would you now call a role in mobil questionable ? |

Sugarboyy:. Weather obi wins or not is not the reason. For the fact that it will reduce result writing and some form of election malpractice..I think that is a major reason why it should be canvassed for. At least it will more closely reflect the votes of the people. Moreover, the world over is ditching manual method of doing things . It is better we start now and correct the flaws as they arises. It will make our electoral process more trustworthy and strengthen our democracy. I personally don't believe in this my brother , my vote thing you are supporting. This is why we are not getting it right in this country. I am an edo man but if I believe an esan man will do a better job. He will get my vote. It played out during the oshiomole governorship election in edo state. We should learn to see beyond this your type of politics. |

completeskills:Una go just they inside una face me I face you, they conclude on behalf of the whole world. Where the world over? Haven't you heard even Elon Musk advising against such electronic patterns in US election? According to him it can easily be hacked. This is someone that owns a spaceship 🚀, and you are here saying the world over |

franchasng:So you mean to say you don't know there are places where there is zero network in Nigeria? Take ibadan/oyo expressway. There are villages along the road without network coverage. Same with Lagos/Abeokuta/Iseyin road. |

| Re: Early Results From FCT Area Council Elections by Sugarboyy(m): 7:59pm On Feb 21 |
completeskills:What Tinubu has done for Edo state in just 3 years, Goodluck from same S/S and ND didn't do it for Edo for 6 years + as president and I can make bold to say Obi won't do it for Edo State even if he rules Nigeria for 20 years. Let Obi rule Nigeria, that's when you will know that the Igbos are far more tribalistic than every other tribes. Obi showed a glimpse of it recently when out of 6 Nigerians that played in a recent American Football, he only singled out the 3 that are Igbos for praises. As at today in Edo State, Tinubu is constructing all federal roads , while the governor is doing same with state roads. Not even my political mentor, Oshiomhole enjoyed such from the FG when he was governor. And you are saying I shouldn't support same Tinubu over Obi that I'm not sure if he has anything to offer Edo state? Finally, this same APC has given Edo State 2 former national chairmen and under the disastrous Buhari regime, Edo state had 2 federal ministers at a time. |

| Re: Early Results From FCT Area Council Elections by DeOTR: 8:05pm On Feb 21 |
franchasng:If you're advocating for electronic transmission of election results after voting, I don't think we need any extra legislation for that as BVAS can readily do that, must be in all polling units? Don't count on that. When was the last time you did speed test and you got up to 20mb upload speed even in the City? Chief, I reside in Abuja and I can tell you that the highest you'll get in most places would be less than 5mb. In the FCT alone, more than 40% of vote cast won't count because they won't be able to upload their results in the polling units. And I also want to wish you good luck on doing anything meaningful, even with a 3G network in Nigeria. Once you see 3G, be sure you're nearer to emergency mode than you can ever imagine. |
| Re: Early Results From FCT Area Council Elections by completeskills(m): 8:05pm On Feb 21 |
Sugarboyy:Yes..it can be hacked but so are your email and other internet related activities. Does that stop you from using email services and the internet all together? in your opinion...tlis this current manual method of transmission better? This your last response is a complete disappointment because of your choice of words. Not every one leaves in a face me like you mentioned. There was no need for that. |
| Re: Early Results From FCT Area Council Elections by Sugarboyy(m): 8:08pm On Feb 21 |
completeskills:Bvas already handles electronic transmission while in places where there are no network, manual transmission will solve it... This is the best way. Anything other than this is just been reactive emotionally. |
