If Atiku endorses Obi, then its advantage Tinubu if we want to tell ourselves the truth.
Apart from the fact that Obi does not have the kind of reach Tinubu has in the North, another things is that the North will have no incentive to vote for a new southerner who will have constitutional right to do 8 years, thereby making it 12 years of southern presidency.

The only ticket that challenges Tinubu if we are being serious is Atiku/Obi ticket. I hope followers of Peter Obi get to understand the peculiarities of the way the Nothern Nigerians play politics. Elections have to be won first, sadly election is a game of numbers, and most unfortunately the North holds the ace here. You will have to play ball with them.

PO has lost grounds significantly in the south. Even in the south east, PO has made small political progress. And that progress no matter how small means small numbers is going to get chopped off POs numbers. Those governors that decamped are not totally useless, they will certainly not win South Eastern states for Tinubu but they will give him better numbers compared to 2023.
