It’s nothing but an attempt to muddy the discussion and paint men as victims, which is honestly ridiculous. No where have I said false allegations when proven should not be punished. Most rape cases are hard to prove unless there's a video evidence. That's the reason rape and sexual assault barely get any conviction in court and why they are underreported. People accused of rape barely even face any consequences as it is already.

Yeah.... I remember I saw something like this practiced by Alexander the Great played by Collin Farrell in the movie, Alexander, I watched some months ago.

Dude was openly g@y, in fact, most of his Greek generals and colleagues were. Alexander's most trusted and closest male companion was also Hephaestion. Man to man relations was completely normal to Greeks back in the day.

Yes pederasty was practiced by the Greeks and the Macedonians and they were the ones that brought it to Afghanistan nearly a 1,000 years before Islam got there. That is the origin of this Bacha bazi.

I would say though that only a minority of his generals are known to have practiced it. It was the core Greeks (especially Athenians) that practiced it more while his generals were mainly Macedonian and not core Greek.

This was my very first reply to him explaining my intentions and apologizing if he found it offensive. I don't know what you mean by bias, disdain or looking for aid. You are the ones blowing it out of proportions and taking it out of context. Some how you are interpreting it to mean condoned or rooted in Islam.

I don't think it's prior history or any issue of some sorts between both in person but prior engagement with other Christians and how they view things.

Because let's be honest here, there's definitely groups of Christians in Nigeria that do believe and say Muslims are the same everywhere and practice same beliefs — and they use the fact that Islam is mostly centralised— We don't have widely known sections or separatist groups like Christians (we do actually) have with the Catholics, protestants, Pentecostal, Jehovah's Witness etc and what have you.

The only time I see Nigerians (Southerners really) agreeing that there's some level of difference in practice of Islam between different groups is when they are engaged in North vs South agendas. That's when they recollect Yoruba Muslim practices and behaves different from a core Northern Fulani/Hausa Muslim. That's when they accept cultural and societal differences to practicing religion.

Anyways I just feel that statement is deliberate.

Obsessing over false allegations is a distraction created by rape apologist . They’re insignificant next to the massive scale of rape and sexual assault committed by men who never face consequences. I will say it over and over again.
