He is an atheist. Saying go to church or i believe in the teachings of Jesus doesn't mean he isnt. I feel the same way, and I'm not religious. Honestly, I believe he is saying that because rich and powerful people love a world where majority fall in line and are easy to control.

Jesus asked whether he will find faith if he came back to earth. Faith is choosing God over money, pleasure and instant gratification. You don't fake this things bro. You do it consistently. Check the false prophets, you will see loopholes that point to their fakeness because demons cannot give what they do not have.

However saying it alone openly and unashamedly, in a world that hates, rejects and doesn't want anything to do with the name of Jesus, is a right step in the right direction.
