If you see Lastma with POS machine for hand, avoid breaking traffic rules/laws around them.

One way
Parking beside the road
Traffic light
Jumping queue at a turn or round about
Stoping on yellow box

Even if he use V8 on ehailing, he will still make money. But you have to understand that, most response from some people on this thread is squarely from business point of view, it goes beyond survival. Not just getting back your fuel money. Many of us don't even know how to calculate profit. we just plan to get back fuel money. Few years, the Tokunbo will turned Tiladipobo. Then, he will now be considering CNG , after Kazeem and Nigeria pam oil have messed up the car. So, whichever way, you are right because he will make money, but not likely good money.
Let me ask...if you buy 20k fuel and you earn 50k.with it, which means your profit is 30k (50 -20)...do you consider that good business.

How do you guys handle the stress from this work , after closing for the day .. cus mehn he no easy and I de feel am for body and worst still my body no like stress like that ..mans needs a soft life fr ..
That's why someone here said a while ago that people should make rest and eating good a top priority, especially if you're in your late 30s and above. Sometimes I take 3 days off when I start feeling like I'm about to be sick. The koko is, you need to make out time for rest (sleep and relaxation), and eat good balanced diet (add fruits to your diet).

We are not all the same...some people here might be able to work nonstop and not need much rest (maybe they're still young or they're just built different), but you need rest to keep from burning out.

Eat 3 times a day for Uber drivers? grin
Lol...it is truly hard to eat 3 times a day if you want to be on the road long enough to make good money. It's when I started this hustle I know how fast time flies. You will start early in the morning, before you complete a couple of rides, primary school don close cheesy

Bro which area did you operate, to accumulate this, because i just bought a 2003 Toyota camry v6, and i want my cousin to start hustling with it.
Please don't use his dashboard to judge this business. He started on February 14, Valentine's Day...which also just happened to be a Saturday.

Hello everyone, good day.

Please I’m working on a feasibility study for a new mobility/logistics platform (similar to Uber/Bolt/inDrive exploring some new features for users).
I am currently collecting feedback from drivers in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt to better understand:
realistic trips per day
minimum fare expectations
fuel/daily cost realities
major pain points on existing apps
what would make drivers join a new platform
The survey is short (less than 5 minutes) and responses are confidential. It’s purely for research.
If you’re a driver (Uber/Bolt/InDrive/offline), please help fill it here:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfcbPgFOJ_IHclPvZTsx7ROgo7Dcz-tSfN55P30luuC9SIz7g/viewform?usp=header
If you also know other drivers please share with them too.
If you have any proof (trip history, earnings screenshot, receipts, etc.), it will go a long way in strengthening the study, so we kindly encourage you to include it where possible.
Oh and Agent name is Michael. Thanks a lot people. 🙏

Exactly. Earlier on i wouldn't listen to my body and I would breakdown and end up spending money and time at the hospital. Always listen to your body.

I was parked at Maryland, a bus stop after North Western filling station just now when a Mitsubishi SUV pulled up next to me and the driver was like, Oboy, InDrive wan kill person. I was shocked...first of all how did this man know I am an Ehailing guy, and how did he know I mostly use InDrive shocked

He parked properly and came to gist me how he carried someone from Ota to Jibowu Yaba, and that since 10am, he has been under Jibowu Bridge looking for good ride, but nothing. He had to drive down empty to Maryland just now (1:30pm). He was saying isnt there somewhere we can complain to with all the rubbish rides these ehailing companies are throwing our way.

Until it’s time to fix car issue and they realize that the savings from those rubbish prices can’t fix their car and they come online to look for loan.

Some people are destined to be poor.

Lekki phase 1, Ikoyi, VI and Ikeja is the worst places to look for rider. Too many drivers in these places causing ridiculous prices.

If 4k is the price to drive from Allen to Shomolu, then I am better off investing in Keke. Even a northerner driving keke at opebi won’t take that price to shomolu.

I understand the price is ridiculous this days but will you also buy a Nigerian used car for 4m to 5m and be collecting less than 50k weekly for remittance?
