The only people one should not associate with is when they are envious, jealous, they become a security risk. or diabolical.

That is why i said true poverty is of the character and mind. Or the attitude, not what they posses.


People do not want to associate with poor people because some are afraid they may be envious of other wealth or have criminal intentions or want to do diabolical stuff, but anyone can be dangerous.

The rich can also be dangerous, they can sell you for organ harvesting.


That is why some other African countries are rich even with little its because of Character, and attitude which gives them a good reputation and people go to them. I heard in some other countries in Africa, when you are in need, people come naturally to assist you without expecting anything in return for instance if your car broke down they come to assist, they are rich, if i am a rich man, i would like to stay there and invest in that place.

Because your god of men(pastors) only value and pray for those who have the paper. If you fall below that category you're on your own. A pastor can kneel down and pray for a rich man but can't do that for a poor man. Money rules the world

Associate with the poor, some are not really poor. Some poor people are wise, and kind even with little. Associate with anyone provided they have good judgement. Before when a person is driving and his car breaks down people will come and help and they do not ask for anything and some dont even have money and will not ask or expect money for simply helping someone whose car broke down, they are rich even if they appear poor.

We are missing it, and that is why insecurity can spread to every location, despite the great wealth in the land. Since we have lost our values, we are losing everything

I guess they leave bread winner and start adore you that is burden to the family.

I am saying, we need to create better societies that treat people with respect and compassion because you do not know tomorrow, you may lose your wealth and face humiliations.

But that humiliations is something that we normalized. Yet we run to other societies where the poor are treated with dignity and we appreciate such. And it seems that poverty becomes minimal, because poverty is addressed and not shamed.

This is definitely not the case in my church- @ The Eternal Evangelical Church of God(C$S) . I spent ially thank our Lord and savior Jesus Christ for filling my father in the Lord- Prophet Mathew Ayodele with the spirit of comforter(John 14:16) he promised us : No carrying of Ark of covenant, no candles, no coconuts etc. The Bible has always, is and always be be the foundation of our faith as practiced by Moses Orimolade.
In addition, I am not against preaching of prosperity.. but I am always quick to ask this question; would Jesus be preaching in this manner if he were alive?

Of course politicians and pastors are not Christians nah, so true believers don't expect them to have faith!🙂

So both rich and poor people end up in non existence after death? If yes, what is the purpose of getting rich since both poor and rich will end up the same way?

But naturally, who do you appreciate or recognize? Is it not the one that did or give you something atleast that your eyes can see?

The church celebrates the diligent and distinguished in service of God, depending on the category the church wants to celebrate them.
The poor that cannot give substantially to the building of the church can give in other aspects, maybe in attendance, punctuality and commitments etc. Maybe the church wants to celebrate best attendance, the poor or the rich may take it.

But why is the church always confronted with all manners of queries?

Because the church is suppose to be the best place. Since Jesus was the best person, or since God is the best person. if they know the best person they are suppose to be the best place.

Except the people in the church are limited by the flesh, the beast feeds on the flesh, they are from the dust, still biological, they are prone to fall and they are prone to entropy.

Jesus said my Kingdom is not of this world, his glorified Church is not subject to decay or entropy, which they have not yet received.

The Spirit is eternal and life giving but the flesh is weak.

Celebrate the Spirit of God living in the people in the church. First commandment love God first.

It is not poverty we are celebrating it is the presence of God and the purpose of God in people life.

Jesus said what you do to the least of my brothers or sisters you are doing that to me, you are doing that to God.

Therefore family, are we treating our brothers and sisters with disdain because they are poor.


I did not answer your question but my answer is that extreme poverty is not the main reason to associate with people. but we should care for them because they are in need. We should associate with people in great need but not entitled and dangerous people. Celebrate everyone, you do not know what good it will do for them.

Poverty is not a good or dignifying status that anyone or any organization or association should celebrate, instead one should work hard, pray more and apply more wisdom and smartness to avoid being poor.


You can be sufficient and not poor nor rich.

Middle-class people are not poor and they are not also rich.

You deviated from the points: Church, Christianity, Christ. Church is a place where there is no Jew nor Gentile, poor nor rich, white nor black, male nor female, slaves nor masters. Riches are good, but the Church is a sanctuary where God does not place you higher than others because you are rich. Remember, Christ didn't emphasise physical riches but spiritual.

If a church is not different from the society then that church is an unholy church.
Holiness means to be separated to God.
Any church that values the rich more than the poor should be marked and rejected, and any teacher, or pastor that encourages this false teaching should be identified and rejected.
