Hmmmm. No wonder when I pick riders they always get another impression of ehailing by seeing me and a lot say it with their mouths. Apart from d car the carriage and self worth. U then find out it's the riders that actually want to engage you in convos

One told me one time a driver tried speaking with her on a trip but the smell of the car( she sensed he sleeps in car) and his mouth breath put out her off. She was telling me another driver this.

Mehn dey fall hand honestly. Same last week on a PU trip at Neca house one run down Toyota avensis was at the access point like me. Na so baba just start dey reverse jam into my RAV4 wey I JUST lunch ooo. Crack small d follow come front bumper I dey manage. Wen he came down on sighting him I knew his ehailing driver. Dirty jeans unkempt beard black drappy dirty shirt. cry cry. I just para small free am. Tell am to relax as I'm a fellow driver like em. E no beleive am.

Bro u have to maintain ur self worth else riders will demoralize u. Every rider sud enter ur car and feel like dey just enter Sheraton reception for business not some slum cause it will greatly affect how dey treat u.
Hmm...it's true sha. I carried one girl around ikeja yesterday...when I was dropping her off, she said, is it Uber I ordered or InDrive, I said InDrive...She said, hmm it's been long she entered a neat InDrive car. Me that my bumper now has a few dents here and then, I was now wondering how bad the cars she has been entering were.

I have been complaining that my car consumes more fuel because I use 15k fuel to net 45 to 50k before now.

But right now, I use 15 to 18k fuel to net just 35k.

The problem we have in this business right now are those drivers that use smaller engine cars. Those Suzuki, Yaris, etc.

I was at Yaba and was surprised the ridiculous prices drivers were accepting. So I decided to put out a request to see if someone would accept.

To my surprise, a driver was willing to drive from Montgomery road to Maryland mall for 2800. Now that Indrive commission has gone up, what that means is that he's willing to earn 2400 for such trip.

Some drivers are just impossible. Unfortunately, we don't have control over who accepts what. You either join them in accepting the ridiculous prices or change hustle... That's the reality.

Insisting on getting a ride with a good price will mean staying at a place for too long which will cause you more back pain and tiredness, plus the heat under the sun.

I've noticed that staying in the car for long without driving is even more painful than driving around.
Bro that waiting time na die😃😃😃
First trip 9:30am
Second trip 2:30Pm but better than taking rubbish trips working for MRS and Apps

I get joy rejecting those kinds of rides. I can sometimes stay 1 hour in my car till I get a good ride, but I don't mind. Some will keep sending the same offer, and I keep rejecting.
Exactly. One has to be very strategic this period and one strategy is waiting PATIENTLY for good trips. Just waiting. The wait is worth it. Worth your mental health that's for sure

A friend of mine wanted to do this with a Unilag student. I advised him against it but he disregarded my advice and went ahead to try to get into a relationship with the girl.

What this girl did was to use him to be getting free foods and free rides. Only calls him when she's hungry and stranded.

Until my guy got fed up with her antics and moved on with his life.

Why I always advise against engaging riders in any form of relationship is because it will take a lot of maturity for them to see you beyond "their Bolt driver".

I will rather use the same energy to go after a girl I met on a different occasion.

Waiting for too long may not worth it. You go home with less amount feeling exhausted as same time you worked very well.

Remember, this job works with timing. A person that went out for two days and earned 30k each is better than someone that went out in a single day and earned 50k without working the next day. Time lost can never be regained.

I don't work beyond 7pm, so I try to maximise my day time. Except for people that don't mind working until they meet their target even if it means closing by 10 to 11pm.

Exactly. This is very true. I can gist with a female rider if I feel like she wants to talk, but it stops there.

A trip that has a stop is 1500. How much will it be without a stop. Can keke be booked to and fro for 1500 after calculating the passenger seats plus the extra fee for coming to your house to carry you.

Bolt is messing with drivers because of their useless bonus. That's why any week they push my daily bonus number to 15 trips, I will never chase it because the loss and mental stress outweighs the 13k bonus money attached to the bonus.

I dare Bolt to cease giving drivers bonus and see if anyone will accept these pitiful prices 7

Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by DEGREE2466(m): 8:07am On Feb 24
In this business, I reject trips based on 3 factors
1. The pickup distance
2. The drop off location
3. The price.

If the two check out and the price did not, I go no where. Imagine from Eyo street in Shomolu to Oba Akinjobi Way, Ikeja GRA for 2700. Like, I will wake up in the morning and start my day with a 2700 trip. No way!

Waiting is always worth it if u structure it. Though very tiring and draining emotionally but note U r not waiting endlessly but for good trips. Now if I had a daily gross target of 75k now with my waiting I'm doing 35 or 40k quality trips. It doesn't mean I dont go home with anything at all iz just not my target.

Even if u stop driving by 7pm like myself I stopped doing night ruins tho I can but I find out this period my take home is lower than usual but if I'm consistently doing this everyday or every other day I find out as a driver partner I'm still good. Like u said better to make 30 daily. So even if my daily targets now is 30-40k as against my 75k I'm still okay. Instead of attaining same 75k but with useless worthless trips.
