They obviously died of asphyxiation, the well definitely has a gas that displaces oxygen, making breathing difficult for the trio, proper gas test should be conducted using a SCBA to ascertain the poisonous gas present.

My experience on dried water well. Any well that is dry, no one should go into it. I would have suffocated in a dry well in late 90s. There is no air for breath inside dry well and I want everyone to take note.

You can go in where there is some water left down the well, but never try it when it is completely dried

God gift of abundant oil and gas to Nigeria has turn cause instead of blessing because of bad leadership over the years. It is very obvious that some people from the community are collecting enough money from SPDC but could not provide ordinary clean water. I have visited many oil communities due to nature of my job before and I can say, that none of them are feeling the impact of the crude in their communities. how can in this 21 st century, community who host an oil giant will be digging well for water.

Confined space entry + toxic gas exposure issues...

Immediately... I'm thinking gas ... maybe carbon monoxide....no scent. How can three of them decide to go down in a well where smiting a foul gas odour?....three of them? ...two after the first one didn't return up?...something was wrong with all of them.

Since the three men died, who brought out their corpses? This story isn't complete. How did the people who brought out the corpses survive?
