Allegations of Fraudulent Conduct by a Corporation:Case study Jumia Nigeria Good day guys.I did a purchase of solar panels from jumia on the 16th of January and the order got delivered on the 21st of January.I getting hold of the solar panel I realized it was second panel sold as new panel.I got angry and returned the item back to jumia on 23rd of January.Up till this moment I have not receive my money from jumia it's one story or the other.Today I would be ask to wait 10 business days. After the 10 business days elapse I would be asked to wait another 10 business days. Its just excuses upon excuses. As a well meaning Nigerian I would not advice anyone to buy on jumia Nigeria.Nigeria has not gotten to the stage of online e-commerce.The lack of integrity by jumia Nigeria and it's sellers is one reason to desist from buying on the platform.Too many unscrupulous element on the platform. You have a very high risk of being scammed on jumia, you might be sold a broken item as good,a fake item as original or a used item as new in my own case and when that happens you would be put on recurrent wait on a never ending 10 business days. You would be waiting 10 business days upon 10 business days it never ends and you payment never get sent. Also don't let their payment on delivery slogan fool you. That is not a payment on delivery plan. It's just a sham masquerade as payment on delivery.Let me tell you how their payment on delivery works.Once your items are ready you would be informed,on getting to the pick station you would be showed your package and ask to make payment before you can take a hold of it.The packages are usually sealed which you are not allowed to inspect or nothing. The vendor can literally package stone for you as a product which you would have to pay for before you realize you just paid for a stone. At this point jumia would say request for a return where the chance of getting you money back is 50/50.I can as well just take my money and put it on 2odds so I know I'm at a gamble house. This is not how true payment on delivery works. If I cant inspect the product at the point of the delivery then the payment on delivery is as good as useless. You might as well just pay at the point of purchase and face the uncertainty, no difference. Jumia Nigeria refund my #153,410.If you are looking for who to steal from,go steal from other multi-millionaires like yourself ,I can't can't afford to dash you guys #153k, I no dey pluck money from tree. Here is the email address attached to my jumia account k2fresh3000@yahoo.com,here is the return number of the package RF1339669932-5897 |
