Not surprising. Hausa and Yoruba are more widely spoken than Igbo, not because of all the nonsense written up here but because of their 'cousins' in other countries outside Nigeria. But why have they given the Nigerian pidgin a paltry 123 million speakers? Surely if Nigeria is anything above 200 million, speakers of the Nigerian pidgin should be placed conservatively at 150 million.

Igbos don't like speaking their language to themselves at all. They'll rather hide and speak it.

I was at the market months ago and the seller spoke Igbo to the young girl purchasing an item. The girl immediately started forming posh and asked the seller to speak in good English instead. Lol. Ujunwa feeling funky

Some igbos were not born and brought up in Igbo land. Most of them did not grow up speaking Igbo, so they finds it difficult to communicate in Igbo or are not fluent or can't flow in Igbo language except when they get to their village or with family members who understands the trash they'll be vomit as Igbo language and who will also bear and forgive their language shortcomings.

EVEN in their dressing , Yorubas are the only tribe out of the major tribes whose dressing aren’t influenced by Foreigners.

Northerners like myself, our dressings are mostly influenced by Arabs via Islam.
