Then we have Boko Haram capturing and unaliving a Brigadier General of the Nigerian army on camera in addition to several terror attacks they've carried out against our military men

The fact that the Terrorists appeared to be emboldened and now heading down south with their operations in Kogi and Kwara states rubbishes any claim that things have gotten better under Tinubu as far as security is concerned. Tinubu's government led by the NSA is actively negotiating with bandits and terrorists. They not only pay ransom but also agree to releasing some Terrorist in detention as part of a broader deal.

All of this information is out there in the open. Nobody will know all these and agree with your post up there dancing around the issue of how bad the security situation has been. Even Tinubu had to sack his own service chiefs seeing them not making any headway

What we arguing for is for the presiding officers to transmit the results immediately to the central server as soon as the votes are counted to avoid further manipulation later on.

So how is this Indian way of conducting different from what Nigeria is doing currently

1. No live electronic transmission from booths:
India’s voting machines (EVMs) remain offline and physically secured at strong rooms after polling. The actual tallying happens at counting centres on the designated counting day, not remotely from each polling place. There is no system that transmits vote counts electronically from polling booths as votes are cast.

2. Live updates during counting:
On counting day, when votes are being counted at designated centres, the Election Commission of India (ECI) posts counting trends and results live on its official results portal (results.eci.gov.in) and through the Voter Helpline app. This lets the public follow updates as they happen.

3. Media and broadcast live coverage:
Major news organisations and TV channels also provide live streaming of election results, showing rolling updates, constituency-wise trends and winners as they are declared. These are media broadcasts of the counting progress, not direct official transmissions from polling booths.

📌 Summary

No real-time electronic transmission of vote totals from polling stations during or immediately after voting.

Results are released live during counting via the ECI’s official website/app and through media coverage once the counting process begins
