Salaries Of Doctors In Nigeria, Let's Compare With LMIC by Nobody:
Let's compare the salaries of Doctors in Nigeria with countries with comparable incomes.

People think Nigerian doctors don't like humans, we know shades of human beings exist, but we need adequate renumerations to succeed.

In Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs) like Bangladesh, Brazil and Jordan, Egypt and Morocco. Doctors earn $50,000 to $70,000 dollars per annum. They have the same level of income as Nigeria. The Federal Ministry of Finance should check their finances and compare it with those countries.

In Bangladesh for example, they export garments to Great Britain, they can export to Nigeria too, Nigerians now wear rags, all of us. During Abacha's time, as bad as it was Nigerians were wearing guinea, winning football tournaments. Nigeria now seems to be destroying its citizens.

I hate to sound specific, but the Federal Government should research into Bangladesh finances and copy them in Nigeria. Nigerian doctors don't have to go abroad, the appropriate salary for doctors in Nigeria is $50,000 to $70,000 per annum.

I can bet that none of those countries u mentioned pay their doctors 50,00-70,000 dollars per annum. That's what most european countries pay their doctors except the high income ones.
where bangladesh wan take see 70,000 dollars carry give just one doctor, on top wetin.

besides, If u are a doctor, salary should be your least worry now.
Your biggest headache should be AI that may soon make u jobless or make u less relevant or an option.

AI application in medicine is evolving fast and it's been said in 10-20 years time, it would make better and faster diagnosis than doctors.
Elon Musk recently said in the next 5-10 years robots will be doing surgery independently.

Stop using Google. I was convinced I passed an exam; I asked Google after, it said my options were wrong.

Someone wanted to give me some donation, Google rigged the call to their office.

Nigeria would best Bangladesh in garment in 5 years if we have the right government policy

What's the policy? Just allow fabric importation without import duty... That's it

You can impose 500% on finished clothes I don't care but allow free fabric importation into Nigeria

Aba alone can do 50 billion dollars in garments yearly

Show me where cottons are grown in Nigeria. Goodluck Jonathan wore rags all through his presidency, remind me of what buhari wore, and President Tinubu seems to wear the same set of clothes. Immediately Obasanjo left, PDP politicians changed to Ankara and Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State now wears adire

Bangladeshi doctors earn 2500 dollars us annually, the lowest in south east asia

Egypt's doctorsearn 2400 dollars a year or 200.dollars a month. It's so bad doctors are leaving the country

Jordan doctors earn 700-1400 dollars per month or 8400-16800 dollars a year. ( Not bad, but.not as high as op level.)

Brazil doctors earn approx. USD 2,800 - USD 5,300 or approx 65000 dollars annually, so that falls into op range.

Now concerning Nigeria

If we was to pay doctors 50000 dollars yearly, and there are 40000 doctors practicing here, that would be two billion dollars yearly. Our health budget is 1.82 billion dollars us.

In other words, it's not possible to do what op wants unless Nigeria changes how it's economy is run so that we make even more money.

My emphasis is on Bangladesh. The country is huge. There's more to a country than quoting the population figure. I hope you're normal in a society of numbers.

Don't be an hindrance, let the FMoF do the calculations.

Well, Bangladeshi doctors as I have said earn 2500 dollars yearly or 200 dollars monthly.

That's not as high as the 50000 dollars you were quoting.
