BRT doesn't use conductors Sir. It uses "Cowrie Card". You can load 50k, 100k or 500k on your Cowrie card to travel as you wish seemlessly on the transportation systems which comprises, the buses, trains and ferries. The fares are taken from your Cowrie card.

They don't pay cash.
They use a card called Cowry card

Ojo barracks to mile 2 - #510

Regular buses take 400 to mile 2 from same spot.
Volks to mile 2 is 500.

Exactly their modus operandi!...they first thirst the water and when they docile masses do nothing,they wait for a while and add another burden on them,it continues in this manner,is endless.
Imagine all the promises before the increment in electricity tariff,with the band A,B,C etc stories and promise of 18hrs power to band A. Now even band A in some places dont even have 6hrs power in a day.
Soon they will come back with another increment and another story.

If six hours of electricity isn't possible in those Band A areas, then it's pointless. Please, which state suffers from such an anomaly?

Since this happens, why aren't many companies paying the transport fare for their employees? There should be tax benefits for paying/covering the TP fare of employees. That's, a staff gets the standard salary of say 100K per month and an extra 20K as monthly transport fare?

P.S. The 20K transport fare is solely BRT based, so the staff must use BRT.

BRT have their dedicated cards for payment. Load money to your card for payment. No cash transactions

Just sit and imagine someone's salary is 150k .just transportation in a day will take nothing less than 2k for 20days 40k excluding ur afternoon meal 40k .

To be honest, any company that owes its staff shouldn't be in business. If the economy is bad, sales are down and financial set-back, let go of some employees, don't owe them. Freeze hiring. Hire part-time staff/interns.

same thing I was thinking. Entered from iyana ipaja to oshodi for #500 early this month.

You can even board it for #300 during midday or before 3pm. They are just shooting themselves on the foot

There was a time we got to the office in VI by 11am from festac due to traffic and a flat tier no query was given to any member of staff that took that bus,some of our colleagues were even telling us jokingly to go back home omo guy i sleep well that morning.

Like i said in your appointment letter is there but is it enough? I was born raised and schooled in lagos but lagos is not for me anymore only to go their to flex, visit my family and friends.
Inasmuch there is insecurity here
the pay is beautiful food is cheap i spend less than 1k for transportation in a whole day sometimes none. I earn more than bankers.

Truth is Lagos is overrated my birth place Festac is also overrated, some boys are still stuck in their fathers house

Those who actually use these public transports know that any increase by BRT will make other transporters plying the same route to automatically increase theirs. No BRT is not better, they are just there to make tfare more expensive for us.

Where is this location that is so affordable yet has insecurity issues?

I have written on NL that many people have no business in Lagos and Abuja if most parts of the country, especially the north, are safe for habitation.

Go to any loading bay around you, ask for the sales vendor doing topup, he or should should have the card. I think it's ₦500 for a card
