I guess if my wife saw this last night she would have reacted almost the same way.

We came back from groceries shopping and she saw how much she paid in VAT for an income that had already been taxed.

She was just ranting ! I am like yes, this is holy anger and I'm loving it. .

so in her mind, once you pay tax on income, you should no longer pay V.A.T? It is this mindset , the average Nigerian has and start complaining bitterly when they leave the country and begin to pay 15% + VAT, Nigeria's VAT @ 7.5% is still one of the lowest in the world, most countries are double digits.
