i said earlier that he is dealing with sharks around him that are way smarter than he is

no other potus would sign off on a plan to get iran to capitulate by building up forces
but the jackals around him brownnosed him and told him it was an awesome gambit

meanwhile every other hour the israelis kept announcing that an attack was imminent
i'm sure he was told this was to make his bluff believable

here we are, and he's found himself in a no-win situation
in a perfect trap of his own making
engineered by those who see him as a disposable patsy
they played him like a fiddle and it was as easy as tricking a toddler

gen caine should have shut this down
but i guess he was hoping the gambit was to use the posturing as a complement of a successful jcpoa+ negotiation
you know to hurry up the negotiations along instead of it dragging on and on until the mid-term elections
he didn't think the buff**n was really trying to use a buildup to get iran to give up its nuclear program, missiles, proxies, satellites, trade with china, et cetera
