One small Fulani country that I stayed last year has this metro, theirs is even powered by electricity.

To them... It's nothing but a basic means of transportation.

No noise.

No bragging.

And yes. In addition to a great road network covering even rural areas, they have great security, and 24-hour power!

Give it 5-10 more years. The other rail lines are still under construction, so they'll want to maintain all the already completed ones. But wait like 5 years after it's all done or when the next regime enters power. Then you'll see that we really lack maintenance culture in this country. BRT was so beautifully maintained for about 4-7 years after it was done, now look at most of the bused and check out how some of the bus stops look tardy.
