Infact Bonnie n Clyde inspired most of these gangsters of 20s to 40s ..inspired so many crime fiction novels too. Their ruthlessness was unrivalled even though Bonnie looked quite plain,harmless and with an elaborate limp

Pablo Escobar tops the list for me. Richer than some nations and wielded power/influence that put him above the law for lengthy period of time.

Majority of the rest appears like petty criminals compared to him.

"Charlie Lucky" was one of my "favs" as a kid.

I always assumed Vito Genovese was the original boss of the Genovese "family" but turns out Charlie Lucky was the original boss of that family
