I’m locked to same, 78 for 5gnsa as I’m getting some signal strength for that here but is the 7 always good for you or do you switch to another band sometimes ?

An Airtel staff I have on my contact just posted that, from Monday, 2nd March, the price of the ODU will be 40k.

That was the time all network increase their data plan. There is a reason why ODU subscription is 25k for 50mbps and the reason is still there. So it is unlikely they will increase the price for now

Exactly.

They’re not increasing subscription for now. It’s only the device cost + free sub that will be 40k and I’m sure it will be monitored for market reaction.

I get same speed 20mbps plan but I’m locked to 5gnsa if I need faster ms I lock the 5g to 78, if I need just stable then 41 and also had more range

I heard 50mbps on mtn fiberX will be 30k starting from Monday. We should also be prepared 😭😭😭

If you have Starlink, there's no reason you should go for this. The instability can be very annoying sometimes. Starlink's stability is unmatched, plug and play.

I tried the ODU last year and there were times I was frustrated. There were times I had to go into the device to switch the network mode from 4G to 5G or vice versa because it was either not browsing or very slow. I imagine if I wasn't a technical person, I would have been left frustrated, cursing at Airtel. Once they hike the price of the device and plans, for me, it's totally not worth it anymore.

If they increase the price ..it does not worth it anymore.... MTN fiber is more better then Airtel odu

Yeah I'm using Starlink beside the FibreX is yet to reach my side seff i will soon hit 2TB on my Starlink for this month

What type of android tv are you using... And how are you connecting it ,.. you should connect it with your router network by using the 2.8ghz or 5ghz

you have to use USB to lan. If you connect the lan directly it won't work.

I have the M30 too...can you please explain exactly how you did this with the ZTE ODU?..or preferably with a picture of your connection to it

So i have been following the thread for awhile now and i have learnt a lot from all of u. I also want to give a small update I just discovered. So i have this m30 mifi that has wan port and i decided to use it in place of the idu so as to reduce the bulk and battery consumption when moving it around. Lo and behold, it worked like a charm and the battery now lasts way over 12hrs since it's only the odu that's now connected to it. So basically, the idu was the main culprit on the power bank since it uses dc power. This also means, if u have any mifi that has a wan port on it, doesn't matter if it's mtn or airtel, it will work.

Not an android tv , i want to use the airtel android box ,But i think i got the fix thanks. Just have to buy the usb to lan adaptor .
