chudez0147:Is he having any developmental challenge? If yes, they may need to consult a pediatrician who may recommend a consultant that specializes in attending to such peculiar needs, or the pediatrician may just tell them to be patient. |

DMCA:You no say. That kid's mother sold bread. She'd carry him on her back hawking bread then when she gets home with bread she don't sell, she'd let her son at it so she can charge the father. The father sold meat. He'd buy cow on credit and pay after market day. Except he had an inclination for tramadol and mariju, which often meant he couldn't pay for the cow so he resorted to swindling people. He had lots of wives and children too, and no he couldn't feed them well. I used to take his 2.5 year old son off his wife every 5 day market and feed him ewedu and bitter leaf and fruits from my farm. She'd collect him next day most times but began leaving him longer, and he was getting stronger the six months, then his father killed my six cows and never paid for them, so I returned his son to him so it can't be said I held his son ransom. His son's inability to walk and thin hair and bloated stomach and small bone density and eventual death 2 months after I returned him was all due to malnutrition and his parents stupidity, and felt like they'd killed my own child. 3 months later the father died too, so I'm now known as the person who made a little boy walk and kills the father who stole cows. |

I honestly don’t understand Nigerians sometimes. If a baby starts walking early, it’s a problem; if the baby doesn’t walk early, it’s still a problem. My baby began the process of walking at 10 months, and by 11 months she was already walking with ease. Guess what? Whenever elderly women see her walking they scream at my wife saying she’s too young to be walking and that my wife is stressing her. |

chudez0147:I read that Emmanuel Adebayor didn't walk till he was 4 years. His mum frequented many spiritualists home for cure. Gail Devers (spelling) was an American Sprinter (100m/110m hurdles) she didn't walk until she was 5 or so. My drift? Give it time as long as it is not a neuron thing, he will walk. |

chudez0147:He will walk in his time. I know a kid who didn't walk until he was two. Fear is one of the causative factors, the fear of falling. |

1 and half year old child not walking yet isn't a problem. The baby would definitely walk when it's the appropriate time. A little bit of digression. My Mom told me that I stopped breastfeeding at just 7 months! She said she was so afraid.... When she asked the Doctor after taking me to the hospital, the doctor simply told her that it was a natural phenomenon in some children and it wasn't a problem. So that child would definitely walk. |

Turn to Jesus Christ. Our last born had same issue. I clearly remrmber my pop saying "would this one ever walk?". I also remember putting that condition in my daily prayers and buying egg for her, because i felt she was deficient in protein. By the grace of God, she started walking and now she is a 400 level medical student. I dont have to tell u the mockery from neighbours then. Just trust in Jesus, and I sincerely mean it. Thank God today I have the opportunity to share this real life family experience. Don't give up ... |

His parents supposed to teach him. In my family our mothers and wives began by teaching us how to seat. My about a year old child is walking through out the house by pushing an empty big crate of 7-Up or Coca-cola. Few days ago, his mum told me that he has started standing on his own, signalling he is about to start walking. Presently, we are supporting him with a 3-leg rolling wooden tricycle to ease and hasting his learning process. The point is they need to teach him, let them try the local method i'm using as highlighted earlier hopefully the narration might change in few weeks or in a month time. chudez0147: |
