givedemwotowoto:Joining forces to what end? To remove Tinubu and replace him with who. Every politician in Nigeria today knows Tinubu is not their mate, academically, or any other way want to measure it. Have more sense than Obi and Atiku. It's been 3 years and you have not heard of any issue in APC. They have majority in both senate and house of reps. 32 governors and they all follow Tinubu as a leader. You'll see that there's no fraction in APC whatsoever. But Obi had Otti, Obidients and LP and he has lost all of that. Only the IPOB wing of Obidients remain. |

This 70 year old senior domestic servant is accusing the opposition of spreading misinformation, yet failed, woefully and spectacularly, to provide the correct information. Nigerians are demanding that electronic transmission of election results be made mandatory. With over 30 APC governors, you still refused to ensure that. But the moment the opposition insists on it, you rush out a belated statement crying “misinformation.” The irony writes itself. |

Ofunaofu:Electronic Transmission of results to be made mandatory with what measure before the debate? Are the opposition just waking up from the coma to be discussing about the election process when the election is just a year. So important issues like this are there when you people at the opposition chose to be chasing the shadow of this government? Election process discussion should have been had 2 years before the election if the opposition are serious because which ever new electoral law will still required modification before the election in order to be close to perfection. Oh I forgot, it's time to take your country back as the election is approaching from those who have been defending her from you people. The below thread, which of the concerned raised about election process even before the 2023 election have you in particular created a thread about? It's time to be serious after wasting as usual 3 years after the election discussing irrelevant things https://www.nairaland.com/7230596/important-things-should-discussing-during Nigerians are waiting for the opposition in 2027 |

alanto:when you say with " WHO" ... Are you implying there is no one that repace Tinubu or no one is perfect enough Maybe with dont have the Perfect names in the opposition BUT i think it high time Nigerians try an Underestimated choice Everytime we vote with Over estimation and what to we get, Tinubu built lagos how well as it taken us now Stop with the over hype, Tinubu might be a political genius base on dirty politics But remove academics for a man whose policies have had somersault more than a formula1 car on track. Take a good look around what is working All the opposition just have to do is 1. Unite no 3rd leg 2. Tick zoning box ... present Peter obi vs Tinubu, no atiku anywhere leave the rest to Nigerians |

It's sad to see the opposition parties are unserious and not ready. Is this how to win elections ![]() Why not concentrate on their own strategy...let Nigerians wakeup to the news by Mon, 2nd March that you have all stepped down for a particular candidate...let all of you rally around him and start grassroots mobilisation immediately. No time anymore. Opposition... especially, the ADC should get serious!!! |

If risk of hacking (to favor the opposition) is such a concern I wonder why the APC-led government would approve the Act at all. Are they insinuating “there would be no network in the majority of polling units”, justifying a potential mainly manual collation “so that the results are not hacked”? Again, what’s the APC-led government scared of in not allowing a full e-transmission of results? The Telcos have reiterated that claims of no network coverage in good part of the country is false. By now, we should be discussing real time e-voting from the comfort of our homes, yet we are reluctant about simple transmission of results (even though anyone can send anything to anyone anywhere in the world from his/her phone and from practically anywhere in the world). |

I think the main resistance is from Atiku because of the indirect voting that had been expunged since buying of delegates had been eliminated! These Direct method to me o,is to the advantage of the parties because it will enable them penetrate the grassroots/wards! |

Ofunaofu:You and the opposition are in the same league of charlatans. You seem to read upside down or you lack comprehension. He said the opposition are crying because all the loopholes the opposition hoped to utilise to hack and rig election results have been blocked by the act. He also added that the NASS spent two years consulting stakeholders across the country before reaching conclusion on the act. He also quilted that many of the opposition figures are afraid of direct primaries to chose their candidates, after all, the elections itself will be by direct voting. What else do you expect him to explain ? |

For the opposition , the pain of imminent defeat is a real and present danger to their inordinate desire to " rescue Nigeria "... Instead of putting their acts together , with unity of purpose , they are busy involved in sensationalism and content creation...This is painful reminder , that they lack not just capacity but relevance as well...For the mob , it's best they prepare their minds for a rude awakening cum Jan , 16 , 2027...I come in peace |
