City Boy Movement Appoints Soludo’s Daughter, Adaora, Women’s Leader by Vixlot(op): 7:50am On Feb 27

The daughter of the Anambra State governor, Adaora Soludo, has been appointed as the state women’s leader of President Bola Tinubu’s political support group, ‘City Boy Movement’.

In a short statement posted by the Anambra State Media Director of City Boy Movement, Adaora was appointed to lead the women’s wing of the movement in the state.

A media aide of Anambra State Governor, Daniel Ezeigwe, also confirmed the development to journalists on Thursday, adding that the governor’s daughter will coordinate the women’s wing of the movement in the state.

This development is coming a few days after the leader of the South-East movement, Obinna Iyiegbu, known as Obi Cubana, led other members of the group to visit Soludo at the Light House, Awka, recently.

Ezeigwe said, “Anambra State Media Director of City Boy Movement, has confirmed the appointment of Adaora Soludo, as the state women’s leader of President Bola Tinubu’s political support group, ‘City Boy Movement’.

“She was appointed to lead the women’s wing of the movement in the state. It is now authentic.”

PUNCH reports that the City Boy Movement, linked to the All Progressives Congress, is a civic platform founded in 2022 to promote democratic participation, national cohesion, and issue-based dialogue.

The Movement recently rejected claims of elitism, adding that its membership spans traders, artisans, students, farmers, professionals, entrepreneurs, and business leaders, united by civic responsibility rather than wealth.

The term “City Boy,” associated with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, symbolises resilience, bold thinking, and transformative leadership, serving as the Movement’s guiding mindset.

Atiku and Co are there whining upadan on one issue or the other rather than seriously giving APC a run for their money.

I'm so disappointed in them... maybe they think taking power from Tibunu will be child's play or taking candy from a kid.

I disappoint gan especially in atiku... obi I know before has never been creative. I don't think atiku genuinely believes he can win afterall he has given his best shots. This is his poorest attempt. Deep down inside maybe he has given up. Abi na old age sef!

With all these steps, Tinubu is certain of winning at least two states from the East and 50% in 4 others either by direct win or snatch it, grab it and run away with it. INEC shouldn't waste resources conducting presidential election. Tinubu's mandate should be extended to 2031 automatically. As PO, I want the federal government to do everything possible for him to contest so that he can collect his defeat wotowoto and shut up forever. The best presidential materials from the East are Iweala, Soludo and Umahi.

I’m a big supporter of Atiku and voted for him in 2023 cos I think he had a better chance to defeat Tinubu than anyone else. But y’all gave Tinubu the votes when you voted for Peter Obi and Atiku should be worried about the same thing happening again. I’m sure that’s why he’s not optimistic this time.
