⚡White House envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff were “disappointed” by what they heard from the Iranians during the morning negotiating session. The evening session remains ongoing. |

⚡Despite the U.S. military buildup near Iran, two U.S. military officials said the Pentagon lacks the forces and munitions needed for a prolonged bombing campaign. One official estimated that current U.S. forces in the region could sustain strikes for only 7 to 10 days, limiting the feasibility of an extended military operation. |

⚡The U.S. has urged Syria not to adopt Chinese telecom technology, warning it poses security risks and conflicts with U.S. interests. The message was delivered during a meeting between U.S. officials and Syria’s Communications Minister in San Francisco. Syria is considering Chinese equipment to rebuild its war-damaged telecom sector but says U.S. export controls limit access to American technology. While Washington encouraged Syria to buy from the U.S. or its allies, it’s unclear if any support was offered. Much of Syria’s current telecom infrastructure already relies on Chinese technology due to past U.S. sanctions.

⚡Ret. Lt. Gen. Ben Hodges says the top of his train exploded in the Netherlands the day of the NATO summit: The top of my train exploded… That happened five places between Schiphol and The Hague and Utrecht the same day. Those are not teenagers. Somebody orchestrated attacks on the rail system. Of course this is from the Russians.

the wall street journal iran rejects all us demandsaxios the pdf's envoys were stunned by what they heard from the iranians in geneva i did say it was unworkable turns out in tehran, they're loathe to offer significant concessions because they see what the us has done with other sparring partners they always shift the goal post so after you offer major concessions, they'll be back with new demands under false pretexts to secure more concessions there'll be new talks next week at a technical level in vienna, austria apparently, due to pressure from qatar and egypt on the loudmouth there'll have to be a war this weekend i don't know how much longer this very obvious game of chicken can go on before someone snaps personally, i'm over it -Lord |

⚡Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif: After NATO forces withdrew, it was expected that peace would prevail in Afghanistan and that the Taliban would focus on the interests of the Afghan people and regional stability. However, the Taliban turned Afghanistan into a colony of India. They gathered terrorists from around the world in Afghanistan and began exporting terrorism. They deprived their own people of basic human rights. They took away from women the rights that Islam grants them. Pakistan made every effort, both directly and through friendly countries, to keep the situation stable. It carried out extensive diplomacy. However, the Taliban became a proxy of India. Today, when attempts are being made to target Pakistan with aggression, by the grace of God our armed forces are giving a decisive response. In the past, Pakistan’s role has been positive. It has hosted five million Afghans for 50 years. Even today, hundreds of thousands of Afghans are earning their livelihood on our soil. Our patience has reached its limit. Now it is open confrontation. Now there will be decisive action. Pakistan’s army has not come from across the seas — we are your neighbors, and we know your reality well. |

four days ago, there was an update that a us navy triton recon drone disappeared from radar over the persian gulf https://x.com/MarioNawfal/status/2025555289655681040 today it is emerging that persia disabled it by non-kinetic means. they used ew to shut it down remotely marking the second such combat loss in the same location since 2019 https://en.defence-ua.com/news/iran_may_have_shot_down_second_us_mq_4c_triton_drone_in_exact_same_spot_as_2019_incident-17639.html -Lord |

Dvdpity:the way i see it pakistan has objectively not been doing enough to eliminate terrorists that conduct cross-border attacks in iran and india and then they raise dust whenever india or iran try to attack the terrorists within their borders now that afghan-based terrorists are conducting frequent attacks in pakistan they have had an epiphany and want to be able to conduct strikes against the terrorists within afghan borders and afghanistan is now replaying pakistani replies to iran/india while afghanistan would be open to counter-terror collaboration especially in exchange for recognition and political/economic benefits they, understandably, do not want to allow/enable a paradigm where anyone would assume they have freedom of action to unilaterally conduct strikes on afghanistan under any reason, genuine or contrived maybe pak is showing off for their new sunni allies in saudi, turkey, and egypt but they should absolutely try to do things differently the afghan-based terror groups will continue the attacks these groups are very low on the taliban priority list maybe the reason for the attacks is to get the taliban to treat the issue more seriously but after a certain point, you just become an enemy if ahmadinejad was president, he would have tried to mediate an understanding but pezeshkian na minus 100 araghchi just announced his offer to bring both sides to a table iran for the first time in a long time has good relations to both they'd be uniquely able to offer an understanding, such as a trilateral joint counter-terror commission between iran-pakistan-afghanistan otherwise this will just be happening month after month until it becomes a full-blown war both sides can ill afford total war they're both economic basket cases -Lord |

LordAdam16:This is the second time Iran has downed a U.S. drone using electronic warfare. The United States was unable to do the same to an Iranian drone two weeks ago, instead it deployed its overpriced F-35 fighter jet to fire an expensive missile to shoot the drone down. |

⚡There are still 9000 Ukrainian bоdies on the border. But can't be exchanged because; 1) Ukraine doesn't have any Russian KIA to exchange 2) Kiev has no where to store them yet. And we haven't factored in that this would cause billions in immediate payment to the families |

⚡The Pentagon is developing AI-powered cyber tools to map and exploit vulnerabilities in Chinese infrastructure (like power grids and sensitive networks) to prepare for a potential conflict. Officials say AI would automate reconnaissance and speed up targeting. One former CIA official compared it to “the thief in the night who tries the front door to homes until they find one that has been left unlocked.” The US has already awarded about $200mn in AI contracts to companies including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and xAI, but tensions are rising. Some AI labs are resisting unrestricted military use. A senior official warned Anthropic it could face consequences if it rejected Pentagon terms. One person familiar with the US position said: “It’s open-ended use, we can’t have shackles on us when it all kicks off.”
