The Governor of Edo state Monday Okpebholo in an interview issued a threat to former governor of Edo state Godwin Obaseki not to enter Edo state. In an interview with TVC’s journalist Babajide Kolade - Otitoju Governor Okpebholo say’s “ Is Oshiomole not on the street ( moving freely), let Obaseki come now”, but when the journalist told him that Obaseki might likely come during next election campaign he replied “ let Obaseki try and enter Edo state anywhere he is , he will be hearing from me, can you bet ?”.many people have condenmed the threats on Obaseki, reminding the governor that the former governor is an indigene of the state and cannot be threatened not to enter the state, and many condenming the rascality of the governor in attacking and threatening political opponents not to enter the state, many have raised serious concerns especially with the shooting and attack on the convoy of the a presidential aspirant Peter Obi, in Edo state allegedly linked to the governor after he iisued similar threat to Peter Obi
